Mr Kannan delivered an experience that went far beyond excellent. From the moment we arrived, his presence set the tone, calm, attentive, and genuinely guest‑focused. He carries himself with the kind of professionalism that makes service feel effortless yet deeply personal. What stood out most was his instinctive understanding of guest needs. He anticipates rather than reacts, checks in without intruding, and ensures every detail is handled with care. His product knowledge, confidence, and warmth make interactions smooth and reassuring, especially for families and guests who value comfort and clarity. Throughout our visit, Mr Kannan demonstrated consistency, sincerity, and pride in his work. It’s rare to meet someone who blends hospitality, efficiency, and heart so naturally. Mutiara is fortunate to have him and guests who meet him will immediately feel the difference. A true asset to the team, and a shining example of what great service should be.

We booked a 6 pm dinner here to celebrate the birthdays of two of my close friends. When we arrived, the restaurant was completely full house. We were informed at the start that we only had 1 hour and 45 minutes to dine before needing to clear the table for the next group. A special mention must go to the waiters who served us were incredibly polite, patient and kind despite how busy the restaurant was. They made us feel very welcome from the start. We ordered around 8 dishes. By the time we looked through the menu and placed our order, it was already 6:20 pm. The food started arriving about 15 mins later and came out progressively. The food itself was excellent. We ordered the crab with mantou, which was incredibly tasty and honestly the rest of our dishes were just as delicious. The restaurant also very kindly gifted us two complimentary mango and pomelo sago desserts for the birthday ladies. Dessert was really refreshing and tasty! However, trying to enjoy 8 dishes within 1 hour and 45 mins dining limit made the experience feel absolutely rushed. Because the food arrived progressively, we felt like we had to hurry through our meal rather than properly relaxing and enjoying the birthday celebration.

2nd time here for department birthday meal & food was amazing as usual. ordered about 10 dishes and everything was just so palatable & their crabs were the freshest we've tasted. servers (especially mr kanna) were attentive despite the crowd. a highly recommended halal seafood place with family & friends! will definitely visit again!

Picked this jumbo place as we friends who don't eat pork. Thought wouldn't measure up to normal jumbo standards but the food is surprisingly nearly as sumptuous. We didn't order chilli crabs but order the bread with just chilli crab sauce instead, and enjoyed it a lot. Other dishes also pass musters. The Ipoh boy serving us was most obliging and helpful. All in, no complaints. Highly recommended for Muslim and non pork eating patrons.
