Avoid the store that sells the fried hokkien noodles unless you have twenty mins to spare or want to support rude staff. $7 for this mid experience is not worth it. The two tiny prawns weren’t fresh.
View on GoogleDun understand why the standard can be so bad and different from its other outlets like Bugis , amk. This outlet doesn’t have the garlic 蒜米 too if u r a fan. Order the claypot chicken rice. Disappointed enough to give a 1 which I hardly …
View on GoogleThe food looks inviting but the service was terrible. I asked if the I could have chicken horfun instead of seafoodand the cook refused even through they had chicken, I then tried the yeemee noodles and it was underwhelming but worse was the cleanliness the chopsticks still had food scraps after being washed. Not a place I want to go back.
View on GoogleBeen having my quick fixes for BKT & Claypot rice here for many years which offer good value for money. Since a recent renovation completed, they have expanded their breakfast offering I usually go for the Big Pao set @$3.70 which gives you a bun and hot beverage. Decided to try their century pork porridge @$4.80 and a-la-carte hot kopi which set me back $6.40 in total Taste wise is acceptable with decent portion. Porridge was served hot with all the condiments except for one important notable missing one - youtiao! Would have given one added star if youtiao came with it and 5 stars if the porridge was served in a glass bowl instead of plastic Kopi O Kosong was good! It is in aircon open setting with stainless steel tables and stools. If you are not hanging around for more than 30 mins to finish your meal, it is not uncomfortable. A point to add: you wouldn’t expect Michelin starred restaurant service at a foodcourt or hawker centre so do not expect to receive it here either
