Reliable, tasty, reasonable. Tried the pork belly platter with pickled eggplant (Mẹt thịt ba chỉ cà pháo). Bits of the belly fat still had some skin on, I think, so a bit chewy/hard. Came with rice paper wrap (gỏi cuốn), salad leaves, herbs (basil, coriander, mint), vegetable sticks, tangy sweet vinegar chili dip and some fermented seafood (perhaps prawn? tasted a bit like belachan) condiment. No instructions. I found that wrapping the salad, herbs and pork in the rice wrap and dipping in the tangy sauce worked well. The vegetable sticks worked well dipped in the fermented seafood condiment. Great with beer. Also had the pho with rare thinly sliced beef (Phở Tái). Soup great. Pulled out the noodles and had them with the chili sauce and hoisin sauce (I wonder whether there is some shared history with hakka yong tau foo noodles)? Had the soup and beef separately. From now on, that's the way I'll have my pho.
View on GoogleAbsolute gem. Everything tasted insanely fresh and actually authentic, not watered down for tourists. The owner and staff were super kind, service was smooth, and the whole place had chill, good-energy Vietnam vibes. Felt like being back in Vietnam. The pho bo was unreal, one of bowls I’ve ever had
View on GoogleMy recent meal here was fairly average. The special beef pho was just okay 🍜, not particularly memorable. The service was alright, and the atmosphere was decent. Overall, it was an acceptable experience. 😊👍😐
View on GoogleI ordered the beef pho and summer rolls. The flavours were decent and the portions were reasonable, but unfortunately I experienced some stomach discomfort after the meal. It could have been an isolated issue, but it did affect my overall experience. Hopefully this was just a one-off and improvements can be made.
View on GoogleI would recommend the spicy & sour steamboat, the soup is kind of Vietnamese style tomyum (not same as the traditional hot & sour soup), it’s thick, mild spicy. We even top up $5 for the soup refill. Fresh mushrooms and veggies. Vietnamese pancake also a must try, tasty and crispy. Just the fish sauce a bit sweet, u can add some small lime (provided)
