Fong Sheng Hao 豐盛號 Paya Lebar Quarter
Taiwan's very first Charcoal Toast & Milk Tea, Fong Sheng Hao started it’s journey in a small alley near Shilin MRT station in Taipei. Despite being in an inconspicuous location, it has created exceptional achievements.

I have yet to try their other food options on the menu, but I’ve been trying their Taiwanese toast across different outlets. The taste is consistent, and the portion is always generous. The Oriental kopi & tea is slightly different from what Nanyang kopi offers, but it is still very acceptable in terms of taste. The staff are always nice and patient when taking orders as well.
View on GoogleQuiet but popular breakfast location. The only downside is no sugar options for their signature milk tea (Probably pre-made) NONE sugar would have been the preferred as a more healthy version. The Egg, Cheese and Ham tasted okay. Small queue and sitting was available.
View on GoogleHi Fong Sheng Hao, I’m disappointed with my order today. I ordered the salted egg popcorn chicken, which costs $1 more, but when I got home I realized I was given the regular popcorn chicken instead. I paid extra for the salted egg flavour but didn’t receive it. As it was a takeaway order and the food was already packed, I had no way to check the contents before leaving. I only discovered the mistake after reaching home. I also noticed the staff were chatting while preparing orders. I’m not sure if that contributed to the mistake, but I hope you can provide feedback to your staff to be more careful when handling customers’ orders so this doesn’t happen again. Could you please let me know how this can be resolved? I can provide my receipt if needed. Thank you.
View on GoogleI had lunch on 23/7/26 with my colleague at PLQ. First time tried the pork chop bento. Half way eating, i found the meat was hard to cut and noticed the meat was not fully cooked. I returned to the guy waiter and he never apologized and straight brought it to the kitchen then came out told me they wil cook new one for me. Then a lady came out with new pork chop and apologized to me politely and told me the new hired cook didnt check the meat if it was fully cooked. She also gave me a new bowl of rice. The food taste actually was not bad. Just the uncooked part disappointed me. Actually i should have asked for a refund instead.
View on GoogleKnown for their toasts but I think their best dish here is the 蛋饼. The toast was a bit soggy and flavour wasn't outstanding, felt like something I could have put together at home myself. The Braised Pork Rice is good, well balanced fat to meat ratio served on short grain rice but flavour not on point yet, not the best I've had in SG. Skip the fried chicken, it had this powdery flour taste in the coating. Overall pricey though. Seating is also limited here so be sure to get a seat first before ordering (you have to order at the counter and pay first).
