An old-school mall mainly selling affordable clothing. It was bustling with people when we visited. There isn’t anything particularly special about it, but the place has an interesting energy and character, it’s definitely not one of those generic, copy-and-paste malls you find elsewhere in Singapore. My favourite pineapple tart bakery is located here; otherwise, I probably wouldn’t have much reason to visit, as there isn’t much that interests me here.
View on GoogleCity Plaza is a fairly old shopping mall with a mix of retail shops, services, and budget-friendly offerings. It has its niche appeal, especially for those looking for affordable fashion, tailoring services, and other specialty shops that are less common in newer malls. There are some interesting finds if you take time to explore, and prices are generally quite reasonable. The mall also tends to be quite lively on certain days due to the variety of small businesses operating there. It is also a popular hangout spot for Indonesian FDWs during their off days, which adds to the busy and social atmosphere. However, the mall is quite dated and could benefit from better upkeep and modernization. The layout can be confusing, signage is limited, and the overall ambience feels worn. Parking and accessibility are also not very convenient compared to newer malls. Overall, City Plaza is decent for bargain hunting and specific services, but not a place I would visit for comfort or leisure shopping.

View on GoogleA shopping centre mainly selling Ladies fashions, Muslim related products and many remittance shops. Surprised to find that all the shops in this 3 storeys shopping centre were in operation when we visit on a weekday afternoon. There a few good Malay style halal restaurants that worth trying out. Yes, its a old mall but its had being well maintained. Clean and organised.
View on GoogleStepping in brings me back in time . More local flavor of old school shops . Nostalgic for me , unlike the cookie cutter malls we find everywhere in Singapore .
