We have been regular customers of Chili Padi Nonya since we discovered this excellent restaurant for more than a year now. Our staple Dry Laksa and Honey Belachan Chicken Wings are consistently flavorful. Kueh Pie Ti and Sambal Lady Fingers are addition to veggie quick bites. We ordered Ikan Assam Fish, Deep Fried Chicken, Tahu Goreng and Nonya Achar - all excellent. The service is really fast. Sarah and Shiela know us already and have been providing great hospitality to us and our extended families. We always love to bring our guests here during lunch and dinner.
View on GoogleHave dinner at the restaurant. We went on monday around 6 plus, walk in and thankfully manage to get a table and more customer came in later. We had a few of the recommended dishes and we love the ayam buah keluak the most. The sotong hitam is nice, the chap chai can give it a miss. Salty veg duck soup, missing the saltiness from the salty veg. The dry laksa is quite a fusion. Dessert is a hit and miss. Must try the ayam buah keluak which I find is the better one.
View on GoogleLove our experience here. The beef rendang is tender and spices just right, chicken bush keluak one of the best we have eaten. The ikan bilis and petai is yummy cos the ikan bilis is crunchy and petai is just right.
View on GoogleFood was decent. Otak Otak and babi ponteh were the star dishes for me. Portions were reasonable and had an enjoyable makan experience with my group.
View on GoogleIt has been a long while since i have been back. The staff were helpful but appears to be understaffed or overwhelmed by the lunch crowd. Its good to know the dishes were still tasty, beef rendang, kuei pie tee was good but i usually prefer a punchier chilli on it and this lacks that umpf!, chap chye not bad,and the wine prices decent. We had meatball soup with bamboo shoots as well as sambal sotong, brinjal they were not bad. Regreted not having asked my friend to order the sambal sotong petai.
