We found this beautiful coffee shop on our way to Peranakan Colorful Houses. It’s nicely located at an intersection, a cozy corner café. They have a great location, and I really love it. The space is also quite spacious. What we loved most about the place was the staff. The person who greeted and served us was very sweet and soft-spoken. It’s not fancy, but everything was done just right. We especially enjoyed the burnt cheesecake! I’m also eager to try more drinks next time. Love this place — I’ll definitely recommend it and will surely come back.🫶🏼

After our afternoon prayers nearby, we came to this café to grab some coffee and spend some time relaxing. The weather was really hot in the afternoon, so we were thankful that the café is fully indoors with air-conditioning. The aircon wasn’t extremely cold, but it was comfortable enough. They offer a good variety of drinks, food, and cakes. We ordered some signature drinks, coffee, and a few cakes to enjoy during our stay. The café has a cozy and relaxing atmosphere, making it a nice place to sit and unwind. Overall, I think the experience was pleasant. Personally, I find the drinks slightly on the pricier side, but considering the comfortable environment and ambience, I wouldn’t mind coming back again if I’m nearby.

base on my own experience i had today, i would say the food is good esp the kinoko beef steak don. the steak is tender amd flavourful. also ordered cheese beef sando and the assorted sashimi. sashimi were served chilled with lots of ice underneath. had a strawberry matcha latte and a blossom blueberry brew. drinks were great! very quiet and cosy place, very comfortable. the staff were friendly and welcoming. very attentive. we couldn't finish the sando so had half left on the table and she offered to pack it for us. might be a simple gesture but not every f&b staff would do that. revisiting? of course!

Ordered several mains: Tom yum ebi pasta, gyudon, salmon ebi sushi full roll and the portions were quite substantial. All tasted great and if you’re a small eater will recommend you share them. The green tea genmaicha and iced strawberry matcha latte were really good. Tiramisu was average so can give it a miss. Otherwise, all else were great :)

Cafe Wabi Sabi felt inviting once we settled into our seats. Ordering was done conveniently via QR code, and complimentary drinking water was available at the self-service station. We ordered dons with drinks. The nicely cooked onsen egg—once mixed into the rice, the rich, runny yolk coated every grain of rice, creating a creamy and satisfying bite. The beef was tender, and the sashimi was fresh, which paired well with the pickles and cucumber, adding a refreshing crunch and different texture to each mouthful. The drinks were thick, especially the matcha, without being overly bitter. The osmanthus flavour, however, was quite subtle we could not really taste it. With its photo friendly entrance, and yummy dishes, Cafe Wabi Sabi is a lovely spot for a relaxing lunch.
