Really enjoyed my visit to Tan Ser Seng Herbal Soup! The place has a very authentic, old-school vibe and you can immediately smell the rich herbal aroma when you walk in 💛 The turtle soup was surprisingly clean and flavorful, full of collagen goodness, while the ginseng black chicken soup was comforting and not too heavy. Perfect for something nourishing in Singapore’s weather. Also loved the side dishes and the free-flow ice cream at the end, such a nice touch! A great spot to experience traditional local herbal cuisine 👍
View on GoogleHad a lovely lunch at 陈生成 and really enjoyed the overall experience. The food leans towards nourishing, herbal-style dishes that feel both comforting and wholesome. The ginseng black chicken soup and cordyceps chicken soup were rich yet not overly heavy, with deep herbal flavours that taste very authentic and slow-cooked Would definitely come back again for a comforting and healthy meal
View on GoogleFinally managed to visit on a rainy day, and the Black Chicken Soup was absolutely 'power'! It’s the perfect soul food for cold weather. I missed out on the turtle soup this time as my companions weren't up for it, but I remember it being excellent years ago. While the yam rice is a solid side, the other dishes are fairly standard. Do note that with inflation and 'shrinkflation' hitting hard, prices have definitely crept up. It’s not as affordable as it once was, but the quality of the soup still holds its own. View on GoogleFinalised our meal at this over eight decades of establishment specialising in turtle soup. When we got there, the place was already packed, but we snagged a table just as the previous folks were leaving. Got the turtle soup, along with kampung chicken soup, pork ribs soup, steamed seabass and deep fried pork cartilage. All three soups were delightful with gentle note of herbs. The yam rice made a great buddy with the dishes.
View on GoogleRecommended to eat here. Came at lunch time and there was a queue to eat here. We ordered on queue and the foods came quick. I tried black chicken, love it. May want to try turtle soup next time here. Public parking just in front of the restaurant. Free ice cream while waiting here.
