He Ping Claypot Rice Restaurant doesn't just serve claypot rice, they serve a huge variety of other chinese dishes, freshly cooked and served hot to your table! Waiting time was approximately 10 mins for the yummy food to start arriving! Service here was excellent! Friendly, down to earth, and genuinely welcoming. They even took the time to separate the ingredients to mix the rice for us, which was a thoughtful touch. You can also add more soy sauce or condiments as you prefer. I came for the salted egg claypot rice, but was really blown away by the crispy red pork. It was crunchy, delicious and packed with deep umami flavor. This restaurant offers only outdoor and indoor non air-condition seating, atmosphere here is casual, family owned restaurant with lots of toy figurines at the cashier. The staff, together with the lady boss, were always attentive and nice, making sure every customer was well taken care of. Overall, a very satisfying meal that hits the spot and will surely come back to try all their other dishes!

It was awesome! The food was really old school style! The claypot frog was really tasty and I would highly recommend it to go with porridge as it adds 90% more flavor! The staff were awesome and even gave us a complimentary green bean soup desert. Definitely worth checking out!

Great place for dinners big and small. This time we just had Hong Kong Noodles, not their fanciest dishes, and ilthat one was already crazy good! 😋 But watch out for the chili!! I like spicy stuff and I usually have a few pieces of chopped chili for sort of appetizer, but their thing is OFF THE SCALE!! One bite and I was done. 🤯🌶️😍

Tried many times at Heping and its always great to eat hot yummy food at the restaurant. The claypot rice is nice, fresh and topped with my favourite sambal chili and to-go to! Something special we ordered was half chicken with fried onion sauce, tangy yet not overly sour. Chicken pieces were fresh and likewise for the onions (no over fried oil taste), my son likes it! The ngoh hiang was also handmade and i like the wrapping, very crispy and succulent, and different from elsewhere. Overall atmosphere with good service, homely feel. Thumbs up! Will highly recommend to families dining out for dinner gathering at a centralized location, they have takeaways too, suitable for young as well. Thanks Heping!

Yummy claypot rice with guo ba at the bottom. The salted bitter gourd with dried shrimp was delicious too. Complimentary green bean soup was a nice touch and the lady who took our order was polite and friendly. Will definitely be back!
