Geylang Lorong 9 Frog Porridge still delivers flavourful and well-seasoned frog porridge, but the portion size felt rather small compared to similar places. The fried oyster omelette was generously packed with eggs, which probably explains the $11 price tag. Taste-wise, it was satisfying, though noticeably too oily. I remember the food tasting much better in the past. Unfortunately, the overall standard seems to have dropped quite significantly over the years. Still decent, but no longer as memorable as it used to be.

Stopped by for a late supper after 9 pm. Even though there's no air conditioning, it wasn't too hot in the evening. The frog porridge was tasty and full of flavour. Nothing fancy, but definitely a solid meal that didn't disappoint. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

The porridge here is very tasty and really suits my taste. It is cooked well, smooth, and comforting to eat. The frog meat is fresh and served in a generous portion, which makes the dish even more satisfying and worth it. One thing to note is that the place can get quite crowded, so it is better to come early to avoid long queues. Arriving early also helps you enjoy your meal more comfortably without waiting too long. The shop can feel a bit warm inside, especially during busy hours. Because of that, it may be a good idea to bring a small portable fan to stay more comfortable while eating. Even though it is a bit hot, the food still makes the experience enjoyable. Overall, the taste of the porridge and frog is very good, and the portion size is generous. Despite the heat and occasional crowd, it is still a place worth visiting for a satisfying meal.

One of the most well-known frog porridge spots in Singapore and definitely worth the hype. The frog meat was tender and the sauce was rich and flavorful. The porridge was thick and fragrant, and it paired really well with the sauce. The food is affordable and feels very local. I also ordered the oyster omelette and it was surprisingly good. The oysters weren’t very big but they tasted fresh and sweet. It was even better when dipped in the slightly tangy sauce. The place is quite open and comfortable. There are many frog porridge stalls along the same street, but this one seems to be the most highly rated and recommended. A big plus is that they accept many different payment methods, including options commonly used in nearby countries. That was really convenient, especially since many places usually only accept standard cards like Visa or Mastercard.

Geylang Lor 9 Fresh Frog Porridge is located in Geylang. It is a walkable distance from bus stops and beside an alley. It is an outdoor seating setting for an authentic Geylang or old Singapore style dining. There are fans for ventilation. The dried chilli frog leg dish in a claypot is very good (if you can take some spicy heat). The frog leg was so fresh and tender, with the sauce. Overall, great meal.
