Hidden gem alert at Blk 119 Aljunied Ave 2 Food Hub! 🍜 Just spotted a newly opened Hokkien Mee stall and decided to give it a try. First impression — generous portion, satisfying serving, and the rich savoury broth really brings the whole plate up to the next level. Every strand of noodle soaked up the flavour nicely. Their homemade chilli deserves a special mention too 🌶️ — adds a solid kick and complements the dish perfectly. If you’re the type who enjoys wet-style Hokkien Mee with flavourful gravy, this one is worth checking out. Definitely a stall to revisit! #SingaporeFood #HokkienMee #AljuniedFood #FoodHub #HawkerFood #SGEats #HiddenGem #FoodReview #WetHokkienMee #SupportLocal
View on GoogleChanced upon this coffeehouse in blk 119. I found this store by the name of the "moment Thai" pretty interesting. Therefore, I gave it a shot. The chef is 2x Thai people; they can speak Thai and English and Mandarin as well. Pretty cool people. Now to the food. Its original thai food prepped by Thai people, but they've adjusted the taste to suit the locals. I have tried their salt baked fish, it's pretty awesome and great value for money, it's big and the chilli sauce that is supposed to go with it is delicious. You have to wait for about 20 to 30 mins for this fish because its covered entirely with salt and then baked with lemon grass in it. Its pretty nice and fresh and delicious as well. What's more, the fish is like 20$ for a medium-sized sized fish. Great deal. Now come to the tomyum soup. Generous portion, and not too over bearing with spiciness, it's more of the sweet side of things, it's not like some Tom yum soup where its just spicy spicy and nothing else. The seafood inside the soup is also pretty generous, too. The fried fish sausage. Personal favourite. A bit on the oily side, but very good appetiser.. The stir-fried kai lan is really awesome. It has little tinge of spiciness, and they used roast pork with a bit of sauce to stir fry. The end result, you get really good "wok hey" kai lan with the saltiness and fragrance of the roasted pork. Overall, I think this store is pretty decently priced, and the food is awesome. I will be back to try out more of its dish. I'm surprised to find such a decent Thai food in a sleepy aljunid neighbourhood.
View on GoogleThe Japanese / Korean food is decent. There are 30+ different items on the menu. Totally spoilt for choices. The omelette rice I think they forgot to put ketchup... So lacking a bit of flavour, but overall still not bad.
View on GoogleI am talking about the drinks stall. They are being rude , dun talk about friendly. Others stall as normal , normal drinks and bread but attitude staff
View on GoogleA coffeeshop by the corner. Many new stalls with colorful signboards. Food wise so but find the prices more expensive then other coffeeshop. But coffee and tea is standard price and is nice.
