BJ Grill Stingray is good, thick and sambal chilli flavorful. The ladyfingers added to the dish was unique and complement overall. 口感好! The carrot cake was also nice. Prefer the stingray more. Worth a try if you are at Old Airport Road.

Had dinner there and ordered the Black and White Carrot Cake ($5), and portion was generous! The black carrot cake was sweet and salty just right, and the white carrot cake was sweet and very eggy. Both had a bit of the charred flavor. But the best bit was the generous bit of spicy sambal with hae bi which had a nice kick. Definitely a must try at Old Airport Road Contrast this with the one I had at Newton just a week prior which felt rubbery and cooked with low-grade oil. Uncle was friendly and warm, and service was fast. I always notice a queue here when I'm there in the early evenings, so be prepared to wait.

Incredible Carrot Cake at BJ Grill Seafood - A Must-Try! Tried the fried carrot cake at BJ Grill Seafood, stall #01-100, in the Old Airport Hawker Centre, and it was absolutely amazing! The flavors were spot-on, and the texture was just perfect. The chili added a fantastic kick that elevated the whole dish – super delicious! I’m already looking forward to going back to try other dishes on their menu. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the hawker centre!

Ordered the black version of the fried carrot cake. Overall: Slightly above average in flavour and texture. What was AMAZING was the belachan they put at the side of the plate. It brought out the carrot cake’s flavour.
