I visited Old Airport Road Hawker Centre and ordered the famous claypot rice. We ordered the 3-person portion, which cost $16, and added Chinese sausage ($2) and a salted egg ($1). After taking a queue number, we waited about 20 minutes for our food. The wait was definitely worth it! The rice was soft and fragrant, while the chicken was tender and juicy. The claypot was packed with delicious ingredients, including salted fish, Chinese sausage, and a perfectly cooked salted egg, making every bite full of flavour. The prices are very reasonable: 1 person: $7 2 persons: $12 3 persons: $16 4 persons: $20 If you're visiting Old Airport Road Hawker Centre, I highly recommend giving this stall a try. Come and support this shop—you won't be disappointed!
View on GoogleAbsolutely loved the experience at 132 Claypot! The claypot rice was cooked fresh from raw rice, giving it that perfect aroma and slightly crispy texture at the bottom. The combination of house-made chicken, Chinese sausage, and salted fish was incredibly flavourful and satisfying. We also tried a few other dishes like the oxtail soup and three cup pig intestine — both were rich, hearty, and comforting. You can really taste the quality and consistency from a place that has been around for over 16 years. If you’re craving authentic, traditional claypot rice and zi char dishes, this is definitely a spot worth visiting. Will be back again!
View on GoogleOrder $7 claypot chicken rice. Wait time was 15min on a weekend off peak timing. Summary Rice : great Chicken : master Lup cheong : great Vege : juicy Rice was white, owner offer to add dark sauce, she added a lot. This was a good thing. For lesser crump stir early and the white rice below will at least get the dark sauce. Still there are still quite a bit stuck but nevertheless the amount of crispy to fluffy rice was good. Chicken was tender and flavorful. The chili was pretty spicy or at least spiciest I had from claypot rice stall. Give an extra kick. Lup cheong was above average with nicer bite and a sweet profile. Vegetables were fresh cut, stir it up and it is still juicy.
