This is probably the WORST Fishball noodle I’ve ever eaten. Literally nothing is right in the bowl. I didn’t take photo because it didn’t even look right. The fishballs are like HK 鱼蛋 kind. Hard and not tasty. Noodles is way overcooked. Almost like Mee Sua liao. Soup is bland. Sauce is sweet and can’t taste the vinegar or chilli. And it cost $6.50!!! They are pricing on par with Lixin Fishball Noodles which is in Michelin Guide.
View on GoogleAlthough dumpling soup isn’t listed on the menu, it’s available as a hidden option. Essentially, it’s their steamed dumplings served in the banmee soup base. For $5.40, you get 6 generously sized dumplings, packed with filling. However, the dumplings tend to fall apart easily when lifted, which can be a bit frustrating. For an extra $1, you can add some vegetables, but the portion is disappointingly small for the price. Without the veggie add-on, the dish is fairly basic—just soup and dumplings.
View on GoogleHonestly, the food tastes good. The reason I am giving 1 star is because you can clearly see food remnants and dirt on their cutlery and their spinach soup, though yummy, tastes sandy so I suspect their spinach is not washed properly. It's very crowded during lunch hours. You get the option of either chicken or pork with your spinach soup. Either is fine though i prefer the chicken. They're generous with ingredients.
View on GoogleFish soup and laksa not bad. The only issue is that for the price, not a lot of fish. But the soup is good. Worth a visit. Turnaround is very fast too. The seating is a bit cramped.
View on GoogleI think there are some hits on their menu, but some misses too. The ban mian is pretty good: smooth noodles, good broth. The pork rib noodles are not great, though. The star of this show, the pork ribs, are tough and dry.
