Came here on a Sunday morning. One of the best places for coffee to start my day right. Got the latte and freshly baked croissant promo at an affordable price! Definitely will be back to try all their beans!
View on GoogleAs an ex service staff, it thrills me that I got one of the best service in Jewel cafe at this branch. From ordering the beverage and cake to getting my order served was attended to by lifeless glare and lack of cordiality. Even a simple gesture of of removing the plastic wrapper and placing the cake nicely can’t even be done. Perhaps the staff prefer to just idle and not serve anyone on a Saturday afternoon. The management should probably close down this branch. With service like this, I would think this outlet is bleeding monthly. Even McCafe does a way better service and is cheaper too. Guess it will be the last time I visit this outlet.
View on GoogleNice, hot coffee. Went here for teatime and the coffee was delicious. They have two types of coffee blends to choose from - the Ethiopian and Colombian. They serve hot coffee. The blends are exotic and delicious. Overall, a good place to visit.
View on GoogleI used to like Jewel coffee back in the days when they had only a few branches - the one I patronized was the one at Asia Square. These days (at least this outlet that I've been to), I find that Jewel is now very commercialized, and that coffee isn't as good as it used to be. I ordered a V60 and the amount of coffee given to me was just way too much. I'm not an expert by any means, but have visited enough coffee places and tried filtered coffee to observe that 250-270g of coffee is ideal to keep the ideal taste. Also - I'm extremely particular with the choice of cup in which the filtered coffee was served in. They gave me a mug which would normally be an Americano of sorted, definitely not how filtered coffee should be served in (in my opinion).
View on GoogleSo good that I have to rate this. Try out their Gibraltar if you like your coffee really strong with just a tiny bit of milk. If not, go for their latte or flat white, comes in a generous 12oz cup. Very cheerful and pleasant staff.
