Great food and a pleasant dining experience! The tomato dish was delicious, though slightly pricey. The fish was fresh and absolutely awesome, while the mala chicken was flavourful and worth trying. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Pet-friendly outdoor seating is a big plus. Highly recommended for a relaxing meal!
View on GoogleChef Lam Sichuan Cuisine has a lively, comfortable atmosphere with cute panda-themed touches, making it great for group meals and celebrations. Service was friendly, attentive and quick despite the restaurant being packed. The food was a mixed bag. The century egg with silken tofu was flavourful but too spicy for us, while the Kung Pao Chicken had too many peanuts and too little chicken. The golden soup with picklefish was good, with tender fish and a rich broth. Overall, a decent spot with good service and atmosphere, though some dishes were hit or miss.
View on GoogleThe pickled fish soup was the best version I’ve had. The peppercorns were not overwhelming and they used good quality ones. The fish was fresh. Not a fan of the sweet versions of Tomato scrambled eggs and cauliflowers but they did it quite appropriately. Laziji was pretty fragrant. Free snacks were nice.
View on GoogleSecond time dining here. The soup is really good... Fish tender and soup flavorful!! Last time also tried the dongpo pork which was really tender but too fatty for my liking. The smoked duck was tasty but too many bone splinters.. Making it very difficult to enjoy the meat. Kids enjoy a free kids meal set with drink, as well as a balloon. We like the atmosphere with the cute pandas... They used to give out snacks but this time didn't have, only some souvenir pendent or charm.
View on GoogleThe food was average overall, perhaps the dishes we ordered just didn’t turn out particularly well. The Kung Pao Chicken had way too many peanuts and very little chicken, (you can tell from the pictures, had so much leftovers of peanuts) which wasn’t really to our taste. The maocai was flavourful, but quite oily and very spicy (a bit too much for us), so we asked the waiter for two bowls of hot water to rinse off some of the oil. Surprisingly, the highlight of the meal was the pan-fried dumplings, which were the best dish we had. We visited on a Saturday evening when most places were fully booked, and managed to walk in here around 8pm. The service was good , staff were friendly, attentive, and responded quickly whenever we waved for assistance. The place was quite packed. A table behind us was celebrating a birthday, complete with a panda mascot and birthday songs, which created a lively atmosphere. Seems like a good spot for birthday celebrations and group gatherings.
