Nice place to have local Chinese food. They specialise in meats with rice or noodles. Some seating available too (alfresco), but takeout also doable.

Economical price for a plate of chicken rice with toufu @ $6.5 Really reasonable given the location. Rice have chicken stock infuse flavor while the chicken is a bit on the dry side. Do come around 11:30am after that this place becomes very crowded.

ordered a plate of char siew duck meat noodle + roasted chicken + braised egg + extra noodle and requested the meat to be placed separately on a plate as i foresee the noodle will be a handful… was charged $20.30 for this! when asked for the breakdown, $16 for 2 paxs platter, $2 for extra noodle, $2 for braised egg.. how does the meat even look like it is for 2paxs? for patrons of this stall, just look at the picture posted and judge for yourself… BIG TIME 👎👎👎

Marina Food House is an affordable coffeeshop at within the CBD area, however, it gets crowded really quick. Had the Roasted duck and pork rice and the portion was decent. However, the quality varies as it can get a little overwhelming due to the crowd. Payment is done by either cash, grab pay or favepay. The turn around time for the seats is relatively fast, so you wouldn’t have to wait that long for a seat.
