Just average maybe ok for some people. Roast pork taste above average but for chicken meat, you can find somewhere better.chicken rice is ok,not too oily.

Pop by cause reading somewhere this is one of the better chicken rice, ordered the roasted chicken since they don't look like they sell the white chicken well. Got the thigh meat rice and added egg, not very flavorful both the rice nor the chicken is very tender. Price I guess decent, there's better value chicken rice too. Good thing is no queues oh chili is mildly spicier.

Kitty and I were on a mission to find the perfect milk bath for Ganesha and stock up on birthday offerings, so we decided to grab dinner at Maxwell Market. We spotted a stall with a super long queue—Uncle Louis Famous Chicken Rice—and our curiosity got the better of us. We figured, if it's that popular, it must be good, right? We ordered a mix plate with char siu, white chicken, roasted chicken, and roasted pork for $25.50. While the anticipation was high, the chicken rice itself didn't quite live up to the hype. The white chicken was a bit underwhelming, and even the roasted chicken, despite being a popular choice, wasn't mind-blowing. However, the char siu was tender and flavorful, and the roasted pork was a standout with its tender meat and crispy skin. One highlight was the rice. The chicken oil rice was nicely cooked and served hot, which definitely elevated the overall experience. The uncle at the stall was friendly and provided great service, even helping some tourists in front of us with their orders. Overall, it was an acceptable meal, but not a mind-blowing experience. The long queue might be more about reputation than the actual food. If you're in the area and looking for a quick bite, it's worth trying, but don't expect to be wowed. We're not sure we'd queue for it again,

Had the roast pork and char siew rice. Food is mediocre at best. The char siew was a tad dry for me, the sauce was way diabetic sweet. Rice was lacking in flavor. Roast pork was just meh. Perhaps the chicken rice might be a better choice but what I ordered was certainly not up my alley.

Rice is moist and nice. Siowbak crispy and juicy. Both Charsiew and siewyok is old school type. Not bad . Pretty decent shop. The best is got free carrot chicken feet soup to warm the tummy. Today damage $6.00
