Double standards auntie - was so friendly to foreigners infront of us but showed attitude to us (locals). She was so impatient when we asked her how much was it SIAO AH DON’T ASK HOW TO PAY. Really is pui chao nua leh. Confirm will not patronise again (wouldn’t have tried this store if not for the fact my usual Xing Xing 2 stalls away was closed).
View on GoogleFried banana balls were sweet and delicious. This stall sells lots of other local snacks too, including ondeh ondeh, kueh ko swee and tapioca cake. Friendly auntie.
View on GoogleOrdered the Laksa which was pretty average. I paid via QR code using grab pay, the owner said she never got the payment and even after showing her the payment confirmation she wanted to me pay again
View on GooglePlease support auntie! She's really hardworking and kind. I accidentally transferred her $1.20 more than required and she refused to accept the extra even though I told her it's ok. She then insisted on giving me one extra box of tapioca cake that cost $1.80 🥲 I spoke to her for a bit - it's really tough being a hawker and working long hours to bring affordable, delicious food to us. She is contemplating doing something else as hawker life is tough. Pls support her! Thank you.
View on GoogleGreat place to get your fix of Malay cuisine – nasi padang, nasi lemak, etc. The coconut rice is especially tasty, and the fried chicken done just right (crispy and tender). The servings are generous, but if you are hungry, it is possible to add a couple nasi padang selections to the nasi lemak.
