I had such a fantastic experience at Tanjong Pagar Teo Chew! 🍜 The noodles were perfectly cooked and flavorful, with a delicious minced meat topping. 😋 The side bowl of fishball soup was also excellent. Everything tasted so fresh, and the service was super friendly and efficient. Definitely coming back! ✨👍
View on GoogleSupposed to be a 5/5, but the queue is moving too slow, and it's not a 5/5 for a 40mins wait time. Now if there's no queue, it's an easy 5/5, I'd frequent it. Got the bcm. Noodles is done well, springy, love the bean sprouts. Honestly, it doesn't taste like bcm, it's more like fishball noodles with minced pork. But a very good fishball noodles. Sauce is well balanced and refreshing. The fishballs is great. One of the better ones. Springy, yet soft. I'd love to have this level of fishball at home. Soup is very tasty and clean. Probably alot of msg, but in a good way. For $6. It's pretty good value. The queue in the picture took 20mins. But before that, the queue only moved 2-3 pax after 20mins.
View on GoogleReally tasty bak chor mee! queued up for 10 mins and I got their signature noodles and added $1 more for more minced meat, the spice was done really well, will definitly go back again.
View on GoogleDon't believe the other reviews you see here. I've eaten here twice and everytime it's just really average noodles. The uncle cooking moves a lot but it's mostly unnecessary movement that looks like busywork. The long queue can be deceptive for tourists, giving you the impression the food is good. It's really not. You've been warned.
View on GoogleIf take a look around, there’s lines for people chasing TikTok experiences, for me, a Teochew - I am looking for reminiscing the taste that I grew up from. The soup, fishballs, and HerQiao is the main dish and highlights. Paired with a bowl of well balanced noodles. I love it! Just walk around and see bowls of the left over soup from famous noodle stall. You will understand.
