Great place to affordable fruit drinks for your meals in the Maxwell center. Owners of the stall were super kind and welcoming. Got the coconut ($3 SGD) and sugarcane lime drink ($3.50 SGD) and they were both true and authentic to flavor. The coconut was HUGE and tasted as typical coconuts in Singapore – mixture of sweet and bitter. The sugarcane lime drink was a first for me – the lime overwhelmed the sugarcane more than I liked because I imagined the drink to be an intense mixture of sweet then sour.

We were in Maxwell Food Center waiting for our friend for lunch. The weather is very humid and hot. I want to get something cold to drink. I saw Soon Li Coffee Shop has fresh sugarcane juice available. It looks so good. I ordered a cup of sugarcane juice. The owner of the shop makes it fresh in front of me. It is very refreshing and delicious. The owner is very friendly too.

Best sugarcane+lemon or sugarcane+lime at Maxwell food centre. We came back several times after trying the other drink stalls, but this was definitely the best one. The two people working there are also very friendly and helped me carrying drinks to my table.

In 2023 my partner and I discovered this small drinks shop while exploring Hawker centres. The owner is extremely friendly, kind, generous and funny. He introduced himself as Michael Jackson. 2 years later, we have come back on our honeymoon to meet MJ again. He remembered us and greeted us with open arms. I encourage everyone to visit Soon Li Coffee Shop, have the best sugar cane juice in Singapore, have a laugh with MJ and his wife, and tell his son to get out of bed!
