Very friendly Aunty and amazing food. I tried both the Pandan and Original Puttu Mayam. The original one is quite good but the pandan one stood out the most. The fragrance of the pandan was subtle but perfect when paired with the coconut and sugar. For the appam, in my opinion, its the best ive had in singapore. Js the right crispiness on the edges, and softness in the middle. The sourness was perfect too. I will def be eating here again. The aunty is really polite too, talking to me when waiting for the food to cook :) Js know that there is a slight wait for the freshly made appams.

Love the appam here. Run by a Vietnamese aunty who prepares the appam only upon order. Worth the wait. For egg appam she will ask if you want a cooked or runny yolk. She will be closed till 3 July 2026.

Best hawker stall in Maxwell Food Center in my opinion. The lady who runs the stall is so nice. I got the pandan Appam and the spring rolls. The spring rolls were so good. I am gluten intolerant and am able to enjoy the food. It’s made with fermented rice flour. It’s so crispy and soft. I gave her cash and didn’t want the change, she insisted on giving me something in return, so she gave me a packet of wet wipes. So honest.

Freshly made type of crepe/pancake. Savoured with sweet palm sugar that’s orange and grated coconut. Usually a breakfast dish but can be a snack as well. It can come with toppings as well

For dessert at Maxwell, we picked up a couple of awesome appams. We got the plain one. There was a thin, lacy crust with a slightly fermented tart center where the batter is thickest. Served with it we’re sweetened coconut milk, fresh shredded coconut, and red colored sugar to sprinkle on top. Tasty and light.
