surprised not many reviews i guess everybody wanted to gatekeep this place. a really affordable cai png place with generous portions, almost everybody in the queue requested for less rice so u have an inkling. i got 2 vegs 1 meat (lemon chicken, curry veg, and tofu) for 4.80$ and they are all decent! lemon chicken was really crispy. perfect place for lunch for people who work in the area.

From all the stalls they have the most affordable prices, I have been lucky to get this as first experience with food court in Singapore and hopefully will not be the last. Good food great price , does it make you happy, then welcome to happy foods!

Happy Food lives up to its name, serving homely North China–style cai fan. The lady owner is friendly and portions are generous. The dishes aren’t overly seasoned, but it remains a daily lunch favourite for many nearby office workers. Will fill you up and easy on your pocket.

The food is fresh, the rice is perfectly cooked, and it’s not oily at all. On top of that, the portion is generous and the price is cheap — really appreciated for Maxwell! One meat and two veggies for just $4.30. It’s hard to find a meal under $5 in Chinatown, so this is such a blessing. You can try to go near office workers! Thank you 😊

I chanced upon this place on social media, and it's a fantastic option for those who work nearby. It reminds me of a similar-concept eatery at Far East Plaza, but this one is even better, more authentic, and the portions are more generous. My order of La Zi Ji, Tomato Egg, and Mala mixed vegetables with rice was only $4.30! Super affordable. The tomato and egg dish is the authentic, wet style. In fact, it is so good that I returned the following day as well. Accept digital payment via SG QR code.
