Danlao - Prices ranges from 5.50-7.50. I ordered their signature chicken cutlet bowl. The chicken was fried nicely, with the chicken meat still being juicy and the batter hot and crispy. The batter was slightly thick but still manageable in my opinion. I would definitely order the chicken cutler again. Portion was decent as well. Scrambled eggs were fluffy and well seasoned. The rice however was a let down. The rice was slightly undercooked and lacked of flavour. If it is not paired with the scrambled egg, the rice is a no go.
View on GoogleMy husband has been eating at this stall for a while, so I finally decided to give it a try. The two men working today were absolutely hilarious! I’m not much of a carbs person, so I asked for less rice. The chef’s antics were priceless — he first scooped a tiny portion, I asked for a bit more, then it somehow became too much and he had to reduce it again. By the last bit, I didn’t dare complain, and he just said, “Why not, I’ll give you 5 grains?” Hahaha. We shared the luncheon meat and prawn. Luncheon meat is my husband’s all-time favorite, while prawn was new for us. Between the two, the luncheon meat definitely stole the show. The egg also had a nice touch of sweetness. It’s classic comfort food — tasty and satisfying, but yes, a little oily. A true love-hate relationship!
View on GoogleThe creamy scrambled eggs are perfectly cooked with tender and silky texture. The luncheon meat cubes add a great savory bite but my favorite is their chili oil which is not overly spicy, yet it’s packed with a deep, aromatic spice flavor.
View on GoogleGot the chicken cutlet scrambled eggs and it was so good. The chicken was tender and crunchy and the scrambled eggs were creamy. Paid $6.50 and the wait was not long. Would recommend!
View on GoogleEgg was extremely creamy and done right on the spot upon ordering! Fried chicken was delicious and was not the usual, had a fermented NanRu taste to it as well! I didn’t get spring onions in my dish but had a generous amount of sauce poured over the egg and rice, making it a wonderful combination.
