Fun experience and got to fry it myself 😂 Friendly and cute auntie. 5 rather big pieces (FRESH SOMEMORE) for $1? TAKE MY MONEY!!! Got the mix coated with powdered sugar, sweet and savory and chewy goodness. Tasted yumzzz even when it cooled down, love it so much

Chinese-styled beignets/donuts, with a thin red bean stuffing and dusted with powdered sugar. It’s a lovely treat, priced for the 1980s— 5 for a dollar. Christ, I’d paid 10 dollars for this at a county fair I swear ….

Interesting experience, you get to fry your own hum chim pang (dough fritters)!! I enjoyed the ones with the red bean fillings more, but both flavors were amazing. Light and fluffy dough fritters. At $1 per portion, this nostalgic stall is definitely one not to be missed if you are in the area 💯

An Absolute Gem! Best Hum Jin Peng Ever ❤️ China Street Hum Jin Peng is hands down one of the BEST I’ve ever had — I absolutely loveeee it! You can even choose to fry it yourself, or let the friendly aunty do it for you. Either way, it’s such a fun and nostalgic experience. The dough is soft, fluffy, and fresh — with two options: a salted version, or the sweet red bean-filled one, which you can also coat with icing sugar for extra yum. And the best part? It’s 5 for just $1! Getting to watch the aunty prep the dough right in front of you makes it all the more special. A must-try street snack that’s worth the queue every time!

This stall is widely known to be the cheapest Hum Jin Pan (Chinese fried fritters) in Singapore, selling at $1 for 5 pieces. There are salted & spiced version as well as sweet red bean paste version. The lady has been selling here for 40 years and she has not increased the price for a long time.
