A place serving healthy salmon bowls! It’s not halal-certified but is Muslim-owned. I got the mentaiko bowl ($9.50), add on extra vege (+$0.50). It was good and salmon was tender! I ordered this with jasmine brown rice. Portion looks small but it’s filling. Nice bowl but didn’t stand out, i still prefer mentaiko with sushi rice pairing. But I’ll return to try other flavors, might go better with brown rice!

Very good and affordable salmon in CBD area, but take note this is in Amoy Hawker so there is no air conditioning. You can pick 2 sides and I went with corn and salmon with Tom yum salmon. The tom yum flavor came through nicely without overpowering the salmon. Definitely recommended for healthier food in CBD area. There was not much queue but there is a short waiting time of few mins to cook the salmon, which is perfectly fine.

Ordered the Mentakiko Salmon Bowl (S$9.50). Place is CASHLESS. Salmon and tomatoes were kinda mushy. Sauce was pretty good but not a lot was given. I even found a bone in my salmon, which I almost choked on. Overall, very disappointing compared to the other bowls around Amoy.

Halal poke bowls!! Located right smack in Amoy Food Centre at Level 2. Tried the bestseller mentaiko bowl and I was blown away! I had brown rice, onsen egg, cherry tomatoes, avocado (+$1.50) and salmon!! The salmon itself was superb! Wished there were more variety to the base/sides e.g. quinoa, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds etc. I’d prefer for the avocado to be sliced into cubes/slices instead of the half chunk - ease my having to get a piece of this green superfood with a flimsy plastic spoon and in a paper bowl. I would consider having this like once a month maybe? Coz the price is a little steep but worth a try. The portion could be more for that kinda price. And there are various payment modes available e.g. FavePay, GrabPay, AliPay. So yeah, you get points when you use them and redeem for rewards etc.
