Decent okonomiyaki restaurant in city area. Restaurant is on the 3rd level, North Wing of the mall. It can be hard to find as it is located right in the deep end of the Japanese food street/area. Food was great, ordered the pork tama and seafood modan. Both were served in decent portions and the flavour of the sauce is good, not too sweet nor salty. Ingredients tasted fresh too. Also ordered the grilled teriyaki squid tentacles which is a must try as they were springy in texture and flavour was good too! One dislike about this is that the restaurant during lunch time is super warm. Aircon is switched on but it’s still very warm indoors.
View on GoogleIf you are fan of okonomiyaki, this is one place you might want to check out. During covid-19 period, you can't DIY your okonomiyaki as it will be prepared by kitchen and served cooked. We tried variety of mixed seafood and beef and both turned out to be good. If any, they could reduce the carb (cabbages and dough butter) or at least have the option to do so. We also tried the stewed beef and it was the best tasting of the bunch we ordered, yum! Service crews were attentive and service was fast. Price is on the higher spectrum.
View on GoogleAuthentic taste, good service. The air-conditioner seemed to have broken down and the restaurant was as hot. The standing fan beside our table helped to cool us down. The table we had did not come with the Teppan, so the Okonomiyaki was not crispy enough. However, it helped to keep us less hot. I enjoyed the all the dishes we ordered.
View on GoogleThe yakisoba and cheese okonomiyaki are very good! Even their side dishes are top notch! The squid tentacle is fresh, springy texture, slightly burnt taste with sprinkle of salt. Perfect! Their standard size yakisoba can be quite small in portion given the price. Overall recommended!
View on GoogleThe omelette yakisoba was very tasty, the sauce well mixed with the noodle. On the other hand, the modan-yaki(okonomiyaki with cabbage and noodle) was a disappointment, the prawn so hard, as if just came out from frozen. The noodle slightly burnt, make it so hard, and the texture was unlike what I expected. The price is a bit tad expensive. The service could have been improved. There were a lot of empty seats inside yet we were asked to stand outside to wait for a good 15mins.
