With free soup, salad & rice, this is great value for money for big eaters. I’ve eaten here several times. Their tonkatsu is not the best but good for the price you pay in Singapore. In place of quality, the provide variety… So I tried their set with unagi with 2 types of pork & a prawn Definitely a hearty & satisfying meal!
View on GoogleHOKKAIDO ROSU KATSU SET - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I just can’t stop nodding and savoring every bite of this katsu. Every bite of their pork is like melting in my mouth. Reminded me a lot of the katsus I’ve tried in Japan. I know there are a lot of options in the menu that might have mixed reviews but to me, this is the BEST katsu I’ve had in Singapore. I’ve tried a lot of katsu places and even paid more than $40++ for some of them but this has earned top 1 in my list. Grateful for the staff who allowed me to dine in at 9:10pm even though I know they are already preparing to close before 10pm. Radish was delicious, the tonkatsu sauce was on point (unlike some places where their sauce taste like mayo) with the white sesame seeds, the soup is just generous and tasty, the salad combination was amazing and the dressing made it even more delicious. On top of that, everything is refillable. A very happy and satisfied customer here. Will definitely be back to try other dishes in the menu, but for now this is my top 1. ❤️
View on GooglePork tonkatsu lovers will have their eyes on this thick-cut katsu set. Love the rice in katsu don - deliciously seasoned. Spanish Pork loin is prepared for a good BIG bite into a crisp deep-fried on the outside and yet juicy & tender 5cm thick-cut classic pork. Dipping tangy savory sauce in crushed sesame seeds is perfect! Very satisfied meal with refillable rice, pickles, shedded cabbage & arugula salad & tonjiru pork-base soup. Limited 30 sets a day!
View on GoogleFood: 3/5 We came for the pork tonkatsu after spotting it on social media, and out of curiosity, we ordered a bowl of ramen too. Honestly, I can’t even muster the energy to write this review properly, that’s how disappointing it was. The tonkatsu was tough and had an unpleasant smell. The ramen came with pork bellies that were about 95% fat and 5% meat. The noodles tasted store-bought rather than hand-made, and had that alkaline flavor I absolutely can't stand. Service: 4/5 Service staff - just the aunty actually, was friendly. Man by the cashier, was so-so. Atmosphere: 4/5 Average but nothing worth mentioning. I will definitely NOT be back! Another thing, i wondered if their google reviews were bought.. guess we’ll never know.
View on GoogleFirst time here and was surprised the food was so good. Simply delicious. We ordered the cheesy katsu don and a set meal with rice and ramen. Both were good. Comes with free flow cabbage and miso soup too. It's rare to find good and affordable Japanese food. We'll definitely be back to try other items on the menu.
