Had my first ever Omakase experience and chose this restaurant as it’s a recommendation from a friend. Got to say, it’s the most amazing experience I ever had. The food, it’s out of the world. Photos doesn’t do justice for what the taste and the experience is like. Imagine being so close to eating a fresh tuna straight out of the sea, imagine the juiciness of the oyster bursting in your mouth and the rice being made in such a compact and flavourful way. Got to try it to truly know what is “out of the world food

Great food and fantastic service. We went for the $268 Murasaki and it was quite filling. The most memorable was the Torched Foie Gras Uni Spotprawn Handroll, omgg super rich and flavourful, great mouth feel. The fish tempura was surprising very yummy too, served hot and crispy, well seaoned with salt and fish was juicy. Also liked the yuzu components in the sushi. Some of what we had were Hokkaido Crab, Engawa, Swordfish, Monk Fish Liver, Scallops, Otoro, Chutoro, Shima-aji, Golden Eye Snapper, and others which I couldnt catch the name. Will be perfect if there was a note of what we were served too. The most underwhelming dish was the random soup we had, was very meh. Had a blast chatting with Mr Lai and Mr Tommy! Made the whole experience very warm and comforting. Highly recommend!

Great experience! We opt for $128 omakase and the serving is just nice! The sushi is fresh! The staff is so nice that they explained all the dishes! Will definitely visit again.

Murasaki is fast becoming one of our fave places for Japanese food, esp the Omakase. Every dish is on point, and they have a special way of preparing their special sushi rice. If you do have the Omakase, ask them if you will get the Chirashi bowl - magical bowl of all things good!!!

Nice combination of a omakase sushi counter and robatoyaki station. Allows your selections from both sides. Good value lunch options that spread across the full budget range. Would love to try more of their robatoyaki menu and omakase menu in future
