Came here with my Turkish bf to find a great Turkish restaurant in Singapore, and it exceeded expectations! The atmosphere is lovely, and the service is super quick. The Adana Kebab was incredibly tasty, and the Pide was excellent too. Arif welcomed us warmly and was so friendly, taking the time to have a great conversation with us. Highly recommend this experience to everyone. We will definitely be back for the food and service! Thank you so much!
View on GoogleI visited this establishment for a dinner with colleagues after work. The restaurant features a very clean and comfortable interior, making it an excellent setting for a group gathering at the end of the day. One of the most notable aspects of our visit was the restaurant's exceptional flexibility regarding dietary restrictions. Our group included Muslim colleagues, and the kitchen was highly accommodating in providing suitable Halal options. It is incredibly helpful to find a venue that handles these specific requests so seamlessly and with such care. Additionally, the staff demonstrated a high level of professionalism from start to finish. They were attentive, polite, and ensured our group was well taken care of throughout the evening without being intrusive. I highly recommend this location for corporate dinners or group meals, particularly when you need a reliable place that respects diverse dietary needs while offering a pleasant and welcoming dining atmosphere.
View on GoogleLoved the decor and the view. Food was decent, lamb chops were succulent and we had them medium done. The Pide was decent as well. The salad for the Pide was limp and did not look fresh, so we skipped them. Disappointed as I had requested for a birthday arrangement when I made the reservation, and reminded the staff again when I arrived. Was assured that they will arrange for a candle when we ordered desserts. We ordered desserts that took quite some time to arrive, and when they arrived, there was no candle. That kinda put a damper on the evening. Disappointed and probably won't be back.
View on GoogleAuthentic Turkish Flavours! Had a wonderful dining experience at Sofra Turkish Café & Restaurant. The menu offers a wide selection of Turkish dishes, making it easy to explore different flavours and find something for everyone. What stood out most was the authenticity of the food—the flavours were rich, well-balanced, and very much in keeping with traditional Turkish cuisine. The kebabs are definitely a must-try, with beautifully grilled meat that was flavourful, tender, and nicely seasoned. The accompanying rice, vegetables, salads, and grilled peppers added great variety and complemented the main dishes perfectly. I also highly recommend saving some room for the dessert pastries. They were beautifully presented, indulgent, and a delicious way to end the meal. Service was another highlight. The staff were attentive, friendly, and welcoming throughout our visit, which made the overall experience even more enjoyable. A great place for anyone looking for authentic Turkish food, generous choices, and excellent service.
View on GoogleMy brother treated me to Saturday lunch at Sofra, and honestly? Incredible. It’s been ages since I’ve had Middle Eastern cuisine, and this feast hit every right note. Pure culinary perfection! The meal begins softly, with a bowl of velvet-smooth red lentil soup that coats the palate in earthy warmth. Then comes the color: a vibrant mezze spread where bright, zesty cacık sits alongside smoky babaganoush and velvety hummus. You tear into warm, puffed flatbread, sweeping it through rich, spiced muhammara before reaching for a tender, perfectly rolled stuffed vine leaf. Each bite is a delicate study in balance—tangy, savory, and deeply satisfying. Next came the main event: the Chef’s Plate. A sizzling platter of succulent, beautifully charred grilled meats arrived, with lamb so tender it melted at the touch of a fork, paired with fragrant Turkish pilaf rice that soaked up all the rich juices. We wrapped up the feast with two unmissable desserts: Warm Katmer: A flaky, buttery pastry packed with crushed pistachios and topped with a scoop of vibrant, slow-melting pistachio ice cream. Golden Kunefe: Crisp, syrup-soaked kadayıf strands wrapping around a warm, stretchy cheese center. Services: From the warm door greeting to the manager's attentive check-in, the hospitality feels like stepping into a friend’s home. Location: Perched on Level 3 of Marina Square (park in the Red Zone for easy access), the venue boasts sweeping city views. Yet as stunning as the skyline is, the warm hospitality completely steals the show. Craving real Middle Eastern flavors? Sofra is your ticket to an Istanbul escape.
