Came here for a late lunch today to celebrate my sister-in-law’s birthday. We were actually deciding between the two Korean restaurants side by side, but my son wanted ramyeon, so we ended up here. Ordered quite a variety to share: Hot Pot Ramyeon, Army Stew, Hot Squid in Spicy Sauce, Keto Gimbap and Cheese Fried Chicken. Overall, the food was good and everyone left full. That said, nothing really stood out for me. Maybe I came in with slightly higher expectations. 🙂 Unlike most Korean restaurants, there wasn’t the usual spread of banchan—only kimchi was served. On the plus side, they provide complimentary seaweed soup and free self-service drinking water. The restaurant is inside Marina Parade Shopping Centre, so parking is easy and it’s also convenient if you’re coming by MRT. Overall, it’s a decent place if you’re craving Korean food in the area. Not somewhere I’d make a special trip for, but I wouldn’t mind coming back if I’m nearby.

I came here on a friend’s recommendation, who said their soondubu was quite good. I did enjoy it—the broth tasted like it had been properly simmered rather than made with instant ramen seasoning. However, my biggest disappointment was the portion size. At S$15, I found the soup rather small, and the only side dishes provided were free-flow seaweed soup, which was quite salty, and kimchi that was fairly average. There also wasn’t much minced meat in the stew

Food court quality at restaurant prices - chanced upon this spot after seeing a review online and was drawn to their gimbap. Extensive menu offering with the standard Korean dishes apart from their rice rolls which were the star draw of this spot. Overall, we felt that it was a rather average meal that looks more appetizing than it actually tastes. Nothing inherent ‘wrong’ with their flavours, but it just left us feeling like we could’ve gotten similar results at a food court offering Korean cuisine. If you wish to try, I would recommend their specialty gimbap.

Food doesn't taste authentic Korean gimbap. Quite sad. And not clean. See the hair I found in my doenjjang... I saw the kitchen staff constantly talking and chatting with each other while preparing food, without wearing hair net or any mask to prevent saliva from spitting into the food .... So yea . It's quite gross... Cleanliness not better than hawker. Won't be back.
