Only managed to try Mad for Garlic today and its unfortunate as I only got to know about it due to the news about it closing. My experience there was great to say the least the service was top notch despite the big lunch crowd that turned up and the food was delivered timely. As the name goes they do not disappoint, this is the place for Garlic lovers. Every dish had overly generous of garlic in all fashion, deep fried, fried, oven baked etc. My family thoroughly enjoyed the dishes. The starters Dracula killer was unique and tasted great, Truffle Mushroom soup was superb. I liked the Garlic Steak most of all as the Steak was really tender and really heavy on the garlic. Would wholeheartedly recommend garlic lover who have not been to give it try while you can. Unfortunately the restaurant location is quite hidden to the back which is why I did not notice it until now.
View on GoogleMy fav place for garlic pizza! Been to this outlet at least 5 times. Will never fail to order the garlic snowing pizza and rotate around the pasta or garlic rice. This time we had the “Red Devil”. Something quite unique in flavour. Tried the garlic bread tower for the first time. 10 bucks. Not so impressed honestly. Probably first and last time ordering that.
View on Google5 stars for well handled garlic flavors; not too overwhelming. Fried rice and pizza are awesome, steak is ok. Level 2 of east just from esplanade station. Lack of seats, long queue. Dessert apple crumble has very light garlic tinge and is just nice. Staff is professional but serving of food could be faster.
View on GoogleI actually enjoyed the service on a weekday lunch and the food was great! Snowing pizza and sizzling rice was good. Great for someone fond of garlic and sweet based flavours. I would give 5 stars for my first experience although i understand service may differ according to crowds.
View on Google*Used Burpple 1 for 1* Great place for casual italian korean fusion food! Despite the name, the food are not stuffed full of garlic, they just used fried crispy garlic as toppings for most of their dishes. The 'Garlic Snowing Pizza' ($25) is their posterchild, and for good reason, it is a very good thin crust pizza. The 'Garlic Sizzling Rice' ($25) was alright. For the price, it was expensive for what tasted like normal fried rice, I would say it is comparable to Pepper Lunch's fried rice. Very forgettable and I would not order again. The 'Prosciutto Risotto' ($25) was really good albeit slightly small. The taste of the cream sauce was very light and not too overpowering. I enjoyed it very much. All in all, a great place to dine. Since the store location is quite hidden as well, there isnt too big a crowd!
