The pork abit too hard and fat. The fried katsu oil had been reused too many times. It had a stale oily smell and didn’t taste very fresh. However the serving speed is very fast! But is affordable also
View on GoogleDidn’t expect this to taste so similar to what I had in Japan 🇯🇵😮 The tonkatsu was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the quality honestly exceeded my expectations. What impressed me even more was the value — all of this came up to just $20.20, which feels like a great deal considering the portion and included sides 💯 The cabbage was also surprisingly good 🥬 Usually I’m not a fan of raw cabbage, but this didn’t have that strong raw taste and paired really well with the tonkatsu. Definitely one of the better Japanese set meals I’ve had in Singapore 👍🏻
View on GoogleGreat Quality Japanese food at a price of $12.50. Miso soup is premium. Generous garnishing. Loin could be crisper and less tough. Onsen egg was good, but would be great if you can make it slightly warm instead of ice cold. Side dish appetiser can give hijiki would be a great compliment.
View on GoogleReally crowded during lunch time so go earlier if you don’t want to queue. We reached around 1130 and could get a table without queuing though the place was already mostly full. Katsus were good and crispy. Overall great value for the lunch sets
View on GoogleThis restaurant followed the Japanese decor closely, providing an authentic Japanese dining experience. The chili crab version is hot, and I think it overpowered the pork, so I suggest ordering the original katsu instead. The dessert is interesting and looks authentic; being served in a Japanese bowl is a delight. #foodreviews #Japanesefood
