The food is good and the free flow appetizer bar is also good. For the main course, we ordered the beef sukiyaki hotpot ($17.99) and the monthly special - abalone seafood hotpot ($18.99). I love the latter as the seabass was really fresh and the soup is so sweet and tasty. As for the free flow appetizers (they change the menu monthly), they do have quite a variety of food - they have chawanmushi, steamed dumplings, sweet potato fries, braised egg with pork, sweet and sour pumpkin pork ball (this is really good!), baked tomatoes with Parmesan cheese, eggplant agebitashi (I love this too!), baked potatoes, udon, salads, matcha shiratama and oranges. If you top up $2.99, you will also get free flow of drinks (soft drinks, tea, coffee) and soft serve too. Maximum dining time would be 90 mins. This is really good value for money!
View on GoogleI'll be honest I came for the sides. The main course was ok but the free flow of sides (that comes with every order of main course) is 👍🏼😋. Went on Friday night 7pm. Buffet sides were replenished at acceptable speed (mostly with 5-10 mins after plate was emptied. Sides include my fave Daikon and chikuwa (radish and a type of fishcake), vegetable chips (topped with cheese fondue), mini potatoes and chawamushi. Other sides include soba, takoyaki, sweet potato slice, Hokkaido soup Curry etc and some dessert. Drinks bar and ice cream can be purchased separately with main course ordered.
View on GoogleI like the fact that their appetiser bar is free flow & comes free with the purchase of 1 main course. There are quite a few items in appetiser bar. There's takoyaki ball (with squid inside), gyoza, chawanmushi, clam with vegetable soup, sweet potato fried etc. Pay $2.99 more for free flow of drinks & ice cream. Paid abt $25 in total. Although it is not a buffet, i feel very full just like a buffet. Service is prompt & polite too.
View on GoogleLove to wait for side dishes that never get refilled? Love to fight for food once they get restocked? Want to pay high dollar for kopitiam level food? This is the perfect place for you. I would highly not recommend this place at any rate.
View on GoogleInteresting buffet for appetizers when you order a main dish. Tried the Tonkatsu Hotpot Ramen. I felt that the broth was too salty and did not have the tonkatsu taste that I expected. The service was great.
