Exceptional Chinese Dining at The Pacific Hotel A wonderful Chinese restaurant conveniently located inside The Pacific Hotel. The food is absolutely delicious, with a fantastic selection of dim sum that is fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavour. Every dish we tried was excellent and clearly made with great attention to detail. What really stood out was the exceptional service—warm, attentive, and professional throughout our meal. The combination of delicious food, an elegant setting, and outstanding hospitality makes this a fantastic place for both a casual meal and a special occasion. Highly recommended, especially for dim sum lovers!
View on GoogleOverall, 4.5/5 stars. Food and service were actually 5 stars. Deducting half a star only because the food took very long to serve. We came for the dim sum buffet on a weekday ($72++ per pax). We entered at 11.30am, and the first dish was only served at 11.50am. Subsequent dishes took a while to serve too. That said, food quality was so so good. We strongly recommend the steamed grouper fillet (non spicy), scallops (non spicy), duck (part of the meat trio). The fish, prawn and scallop soup was also very flavourful. My partner also enjoyed the deep-fried prawn and truffle pork bun. Service was very attentive too, refilling our water (complimentary) and changing our plates every now and then. I particularly like the fact that the number of dim sum was based on the number of pax, so that I don’t waste food/stomach space if I don’t enjoy the dish as much. Would definitely come again, but only if I am not rushing anywhere.
View on GoogleCelebrated my birthday at Hai Tien Lo and it was truly a memorable experience. I’ve given it a well-deserved 5 stars. The staff were attentive throughout the meal, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of without being intrusive. Every dish served was delicious and beautifully presented, showing great attention to detail and quality. I especially loved the ambience — elegant, calm, and perfect for a meaningful celebration with family and friends. A wonderful dining experience that I would gladly return to again. Highly recommended for special occasions!
View on GoogleHad lunch at Hai Tien Lo recently and it was a really enjoyable experience. What stood out immediately was the service. Yvonne was attentive throughout the meal—always observant without being intrusive, and very prompt whenever we needed anything. Plates were cleared quickly, which kept the table neat and made the whole dining experience feel smooth and well-paced. The food quality was also impressive. Every dish arrived piping hot, which is something you don’t always get at buffets where items can sometimes feel reheated. Here, you can really tell that the dishes are cooked à la minute—fresh, well-executed, and served at the right temperature. Overall, a solid dining experience with both strong service and consistently well-prepared food. Definitely a place worth returning to.
View on GoogleComing back again after a few years since the previous chef left. Had the weekend dimsum buffet brunch. Quality, taste of food was good, but there’s still some room for improvement, if compared to the previous times when Chef Ben Zeng was at helm. Variety of food for the buffet brunch seems to have reduced a little but overall, it’s still a good selection. Nice ambience as usual and great service from Yvonne and Yannice. Keep it up. Will come back to eat again!
