Had a chicken kebab and a mixed meat burger and it was delicious! Love that the wrap is warmed up and a bit stretchy! Salads are fresh though the meats can be more generous! Overall a very nice lunch. And yes, they gave us complimentary hot tea to finish the meal! Nice touch there!
View on GoogleThis place serves authentic Turkish food with the right Turkish taste. Hummus, baba ganoush, the pide, the kebab, it’s all true to Turkish food profile. Not Lebanese, not Israeli, not Egyptian. It’s authentically Turkish with a Turkish chef at the helm. Yes, per person could start from $16 for a main but portions are big. A small meal with a lentil soup $6 and an individual portion of hummus or baba ganoush can still at up to $12. Over the weekend, I ate there 3x and the food is consistent in portion and taste. If you look under something “adventurous” you’ll find the Turkish classic Iskander plate which is a layer of pide topped with chicken, home cooked tomato sauce, butter and served with a side of strained yogurt, a huge roast tomato and roast chilli. Very filling. Very hearty. Just mix everything onto your fork and enjoy. Ordered that twice on 2 visits. The kebab with fried plate is also a favorite. I ordered it twice because the fries are so good! Also twice ordered at baba ganoush and the thick tasty hummus. The pita is so good I always order one extra. It is a simple bread but very tasty on its own or with the dips. The lentil soup is also good if you want a starter or a light meal. The service is efficient. Orders are made from a machine or at the counter with the friendly staff. The order chit is queued and prepped in sequence of order. So be patient if a big group orders before you. But it’s not too long a wait because the chef works fast. Sometimes so fast he forgets to add the add ons. But it’s fine to go back to the counter and remind them they forgot the add on. Overall, they are friendly and receptive to feedback. Most importantly they maintain their standards very well. Their tables are very clean and cleared very fast after the customer leaves. Dining experience is quite pleasant with no loud music or kitchen staff shouting or talking loudly. I actually ate more than what I reviewed here but the review is very long already and I’m looking forward to my next visit. Summary: Good healthy food choices. Small eaters can make 2 meals from each main.
View on GoogleOne of the best I’ve tried in Singapore and not as expensive because it isn’t as fancy. Meat was well marinated and moist. Hummus was excellent too and generous in serving size. I can now understand how this place has survived so many years. The platter for two was huge. I think three small eaters can share one platter and everyone will still be full
View on GoogleVery affordable and good quality middle eastern food. Got a 2 pax meat grill. I eat it when I wanna go carbs free. Today I tried knafeh for the first time, not as sweet as what I had tot, which is great! Nett price. Complimentary tea and no crowd on a weekday evening.
View on GoogleGood place for Turkish food, they also have vegetarian options. The veg falafel was crispy and fresh as needed. The turkish tea is refreshing. And if you are in sweet mood go for their Baklava.
