Alter Ego, located at Esplanade Mall, offers a stunning waterfront view that makes dining here even more enjoyable. Whether you're taking a break from shopping, grabbing lunch near the office, or catching up with friends over dinner, this spot has a laid-back vibe that fits any occasion. The 𝗔𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗴𝗼 𝗠𝗲𝗴𝗮 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿 was an absolute showstopper; two thick, juicy beef patties stacked with turkey bacon, delivering a rich and satisfying bite. Paired with crispy, addictive curly fries, it was everything a great burger should be. 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘀 𝗔𝗹 𝗔𝗷𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼 was another standout, featuring fresh, crunchy prawns bathed in a garlicky, spicy sauce that packed a punch. These two dishes alone made the dinner/meal worth it. Both 𝗖𝗮𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗱 and 𝗧𝘂𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗽 𝗔𝗹𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗼 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮 were decent; nothing extraordinary, but they got the job done. I was hoping to end the meal with dessert, but unfortunately, they were all sold out. Still, if you're in the mood for a killer burger, some flavourful bites, and a few beers, Alter Ego is definitely a solid pick.

Alter Ego is a vibey spot at The Esplanade that boasts waterfront dining and a chic interior. With an impressive selection of beers and cocktails to go along with classic American fare served in humongous portions, it’s the ideal spot to hang out with your friends. The gargantuan 𝗔𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗴𝗼 𝗠𝗲𝗴𝗮 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿, featuring two juicy beef patties and turkey bacon, was as mesmerizing as it was mouth-watering. The side of curly fries was extremely addictive too. Not to be outdone, the 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘀 𝗔𝗹 𝗔𝗷𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼 – fresh, crunchy prawns in a garlicky, spicy sauce – was downright delicious. The crispy, flavourful 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗣𝗲𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 were commendable as well. If you drop by to devour a burger, share some fries and wings while chugging down some beers, you’d be in for a great night.

Their portion is quite generous & of cause very delicious. You can tell from my kids how enjoyable they are. Their Meat Grilled Platter is quite generous with their meat & the wellness of the meat cooked just nice.. I also love their Beef Burger Pizza. It is thin crust & generous with ingredients too. Overall me & my family love dining at Alter Ego & will be back again to try out other food.

We kicked things off with $8 happy hour pints. Perfect for winding down and soaking in those golden hour skyline views. Started light (kind of) with the Crispy Salmon Salad - fresh romaine, eggs, crunchy veggies and golden strips of salmon. Surprisingly hearty and packed with flavour. Then came the Meataholic Platter for 2 and honestly… it could feed four. Perfect spot for date night, chill hangs with friends or just treating yourself with a waterfront view and serious food game!
