Overall, I’d rate this place a 4. What amazed me the most wasn’t the food, but the view. The outdoor seating is fantastic—it’s right in front of Marina Bay, offering a breathtaking sight. As for the food, it tastes decent, but with the price, I was expecting something more unique. It seems like what you're really paying for is the view. The portions are also on the smaller side. On top of that, the waiting time for food was quite long, which was a bit disappointing. Service-wise, the staff were okay, and their attitude was fine as well.

The food is decent. The quality of fish is better than expected. The only down side with sushi here is the quality of the rice. Feels like sushiro uses better quality rice. Also we asked the kitchen to cook the beef cube for us and it’s super well done (not done well) The staff on the other hand is really good. Quite attentive. The view of course is also amazing especially on a cool breezy day.

An absolute gem of a Japanese restaurant! From the moment you step inside, you’re transported to an atmosphere that feels both authentic and inviting. The attention to detail in both service and presentation is exceptional, with each dish beautifully crafted and bursting with flavor. The sushi was incredibly fresh, and the ramen was rich and comforting—every bite felt like a little piece of Japan. The staff are knowledgeable and attentive, eager to ensure a memorable experience. Perfect for anyone looking for a true taste of Japanese cuisine. Highly recommend for food lovers!

Service staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating despite being severely short-handed. I would return just for their great service. Kitchen service, however, was extremely slow. Food quality and quantity were mediocre for the price. Even the beers were flat. Prices were on the high side, which is understandable due to the amazing location. The backdrop with the MBS, Art Science Museum and Flyer was beautiful. Happy Hour happens daily from 5.30-7pm.

My colleagues and I booked the private room which had 2 tables, and we ordered the $100++ menu. It was a wonderful evening, every dish was fresh, tastefully plated and delicious. Service was thoughtful. One of the staff noticed some did not eat sashimi and offered to sear the slices. I would choose Issho again for such occasions.
