The Tom yam soup with glass noodles is great. Pork is tender, soup’s sour and spicy taste is well balanced. Highly recommended for tom yam lovers. Service is great, uncle greeted us warmly. The reno is simply Thai, cozy.
View on GoogleReal hidden treasure! Had a v long and meaningful chat with the owner Chef Yupin and she's really just a amazing ball of sunshine who enjoys cooking for leisure. Really homely and nice I had the Beef Noodles and Fish cakes as she recommended and I really enjoyed it to the fullest...portion...flavour...value for money truly... She offers reservations for dinner based on availability
View on GoogleThe Thai food here is not bad, quite tasty and price wise is affordable but not the value most for money. But if you are in city hall area and looking for a hole in the wall place and not so commercial then come here. The uncle serving is very friendly. The chef is also cheerful and friendly. It’s like dining in your uncle’s and auntie’s house. They serve you up chop chop and give you smiles and small chit chat. If you’re looking for a place with authentic Thai food and authentic service then this is the place for you. Ribeye beef noodles $10, tomyum prawn seafood soup $10 and Thai basil rice $9. No Gst no service charge. The food was flavorful. The beef plenty. The beef broth was rich. The tomyum was creamy goodness and not too spicy. The prawns were super fresh. Only downside is that the place is cramped and oily cooking smells. Payment by PayNow or cash only. Other than the cramped oily environment, it’s great.
View on GoogleWanted to try their curries but they temporarily removed them from the menu, probably due to the chicken export ban from Malaysia. I was expecting stronger flavours because it is Thai food but the basil with pork that I ordered felt a little light. The pork given is quite a lot compared to other places but what you see in the photo was $9 (early Aug 2022).
View on GoogleHad Thai green curry, egg omelette for dinner. A few bottles of soju and Heineken with a buddy. The Thai green curry and egg omelette were skillfully prepared. This is the place for good food.
