Offers a range of French pastries and artisanal breads made with 100% French flour and butter. Our croissants have been voted by many as the best in Singapore and the Kouign Amanns are much raved about.

Dropped by Tiong Bahru Bakery at Raffles City to try their matcha cheesecake. I must say — it tasted really good. Smooth, rich and well balanced without being overly sweet. Definitely hit the spot. Their original croissant was huge and beautifully buttery. They’ll warm it up for you, which makes it even better paired with the complimentary good quality butter and strawberry jam. There were plenty of comfortable seats and the space felt cozy, making it a nice place to relax over coffee and pastries. Overall, a satisfying visit and worth dropping by if you enjoy pastries and desserts.

EXTRAORDINARY SERVICE AND FOOD Nancy (i think) gave some of the best service I have ever had, showing us to a table, showing the menu and giving recommendations, telling us about the complimentary water and how to place our orders. She even smiled as she gave us our drinks, being extremely sweet and friendly, truly a gem!! She deserves all the support she is getting Chai latte was great, being spiced with cinammon and warming me thoroughly inside, though it is sweetened which was not mentioned (sweetened drinks are not my preference), still not bad though. Magic was nice too. I like how there are many options for alternative milks available! We had the oat milk and skim milk Mont Blanc was amazing! The chestnut paste reminded me of red bean paste. You could taste real vanilla in the cream which paired nicely with the mixed berry jam, preventing it from being jelak. The tart shell was also really good, with real chestnuts inside the base as well. It is rather pricy for the size, but really dense and satisfying

July 2026 - Skip the zesty chicken salad, only abt 50g chicken breast, crackers are soggy and cabbage is bitter. May 2026 - Amazing pulled pork risoni from their new hot food menu! Didn't have high expectations since they're known for their bakes, but the pulled pork was flavoursome, tender, and the risoni was al dente. Generous portion of pulled pork and cheese shavings, water cress was fresh. Reasonably priced at sgd24, though bowl looks small, I wasn't able to finish it on my own, also because it gets a bit jelat towards the end. Recommend sharing with friends with other sandwiches or desserts. Quality rivals that of pasta establishments, I'll definitely order it the next time I'm here. Chicken burger was junky, sauce quite spicy, not suitable for children. Wouldn't recommend. Matcha latte and caffe latte were both great. Oomphy and smooth. Ambience was fantastic but tables are close together, not much privacy. Lots of natural light, high ceiling. Place was bustling with activity over weekday lunch, great to people watch at. Total bill sgd 71 for 2 mains and 2 drinks, reasonable for the location. Order at cashier cite table number, food will be served by staff to table. Complimentary self service water.

Hii! :D I’m a 16-year-old Filipino Girl, having a vacation in Singapore. The staff was really welcoming and approachable especially Aunt Nancy. When I tried to fill a glass of water in the refill area, a kind, cheerful man approached me if I needed assistant—along with him was a lady who smiled at me kindly. I’m really surprised of how approachable and cheerful the staff were because in most restaurants I’ve been to, the staff was neutral or unhappy. But anyways, it was an excellent service. I also love the ham and cheese croissant as well as the iced chocolate. 😁

Fourteen years in, and Tiong Bahru Bakery is proving that it’s far more than just the place you go for a reliable croissant. With its latest lineup of pastries and drinks, the homegrown bakery is leaning deeper into Asian-inspired flavours while still keeping that unmistakable French pastry DNA that made it a household name in Singapore. 🖤Black Sesame Choux Inspired by the comforting flavours of black sesame tangyuan, it comes packed with nutty black sesame richness, but the airy choux pastry keeps it from feeling too heavy. The contrast between the creamy filling, charcoal crumble, and crisp sesame tuile adds just enough texture to make every bite interesting. 🍑Peach Oolong Entremet It’s delicate and elegant, with fragrant oolong notes layered against a bright peach centre. The flavours are subtle rather than overpowering, making it the kind of dessert that feels light enough even after a full meal. 💚Matcha Basque Cheesecake Unlike many matcha desserts that go all in on bitterness, this one strikes a nice balance. The creamy cheesecake base softens the earthy matcha notes, while the signature burnt Basque edges add a touch of depth and character. 💚Pistachio Bombe Pistachio fans are in for a treat, with layers of pistachio chantilly, ganache and praline beneath a glossy white chocolate glaze. It’s rich without being cloying, and every component delivers that deep roasted pistachio flavour. 💜Bergamot Lavender Tart Designed like a spring daisy, it balances fragrant lavender ganache with a citrusy bergamot crémeux, all housed within a vanilla tart shell. 🤎Mont Blanc A more classic European profile but with TBB’s modern touch. Layers of chestnut cream, berry confit, vanilla chantilly, and candied chestnuts come together beautifully, delivering richness without becoming overly sweet. Beyond the food, the newly refreshed Raffles City outlet gives the brand a fresh energy. The self-selection pastry concept makes the experience feel more casual and intuitive, whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee before work or settling in for a leisurely afternoon catch-up.
