Always nice to find a spot in the city that feels a little slower and more relaxed. Recently checked out the new breakfast and lunch menu at The Stamford Brasserie, helmed by Director of Culinary Nicholas Issel, and you will find comforting French brasserie classics done well. The space itself has a cosy Parisian vibe with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city, making it a really nice place for breakfast meetings, casual catch-ups, or even a long lunch break. We tried a few dishes including the Classic Shrimp Cocktail, Steak au Poivre, Soup of the Day and Sautéed Mushrooms, but my personal favourite was definitely the Octopus Paccheri Pasta. The pasta had a great bite, flavours were rich without being too heavy, and the octopus was cooked really nicely. Would honestly recommend ordering this if you’re visiting.
View on GoogleMy family of 3 went there to celebrate my husband's birthday two weekends ago. We ordered 2 Wagyu Beef Burgers (S$33++ each) and a Seared Halibut (S$34++). Food was great! My only feedback is that I would have much preferred real potato fries to come with the burger instead of just potato chips. We were served by Jared, who always had a smile on his face, and whose service was excellent! Upon bring informed that my husband was celebrating his birthday, Jared arranged for a complimentary slice of Lemon Lime Cheesecake, complete with a candle and a Happy Birthday tag. 🎂 Overall, we had a great time at The Stamford Brasserie.
View on GoogleVisited for brunch and had the Egg Au Saumon and Matcha Yuzu Gateaux. The café has a modern, stylish interior with a relaxing atmosphere, making it a great spot to unwind over coffee. The Egg Au Saumon was well presented, with perfectly poached eggs, quality Norwegian smoked salmon and a rich dill hollandaise. The toasted brioche paired nicely with the creamy sauce, though it could have been served a little warmer. The Matcha Yuzu Gateaux was beautifully crafted, with a light mousse and refreshing citrus notes that balanced the matcha well without being overly sweet. The coffee was a nice finish to the meal. Overall, a pleasant dining experience with good food, elegant presentation and a comfortable ambience.
View on GoogleAmazing service and ambience. Special shoutout to Amirul who displayed splendid service. We were not allowed to cut our own cake but he gave alternative solutions which we were very happy with and satisfied. Will definitely be back again for the food and especially the service
View on GoogleMenu was well thought through and each dish tasted elevated and well-balanced. Little details like nuts paired with the Halibut made the dishes memorable. However, what made the experience enjoyable was the service from Amirul and his team. It was fantastic and thoughtful. As a person who appreciates good service, i cannot emphasise this enough. Our two kids at the table were crying over sharing one of the cakes for dessert. Amirul swiftly solved the issue by bringing over two cakes on the house. We definitely didn’t expect that but appreciated it lots!
