My wife and I enjoyed the music renditions. The place was very well lighted by numerous candles making the atmosphere romantic. Would to have this concert next year Valentine Day.
View on GoogleThe old parliament house was converted to a cultural Art place. It was my first time visiting the old parliament. Truly enjoyed the experience of sitting on our great leader Mr Lee Kuan Yew seat inside the former parliament.
View on GoogleHad a lovely opportunity to visit the place for a candlelight concert with my partner. The hall was beautifully illuminated with all the candles. Looking forward to more chamber performances, especially classical music, because this was a delightful experience.
View on GoogleHad a romantic date with my partner at the Old Parliament. Glad to see this historic building has been restored and serves as a cultural center for Singaporeans even unto the modern age. Missed getting our Candlelight photo after the concert, tried to contact the organizers after the concert, so far to no avail. Hope the organizers can get back to us quickly. It was an intimate experience together with the Vocalise chamber orchestra and Humanists Society. We quite enjoyed it. This was to the point some of the patrons of the arts attending got somewhat amorous during the concert. (pssst, don't go too overboard with the PDA) It was also amusing to see a member of Vocalise conduct the other musicians with his extremely expressive eyebrows. Added to the flavor and atmosphere. I personally thought there were a few tuning inaccuracies and small mistakes at the start of the performance, but the chamber orchestra eventually hit their stride as the evening went on.
View on GoogleWe came here to see the meeting rooms, which are not open to the public. So we walked around a bit, saw a large exhibit room that is under refurbishment, took a break on a very comfy couch upstairs, then bounced. Free to enter, but not with a visit.
