Had dinner at Sushizushi today and had a really great experience. The sushi chefs were very friendly and welcoming, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and you could tell a lot of care went into every dish. Service was attentive and smooth throughout the meal. The atmosphere was comfortable and perfect for enjoying sushi at a relaxed pace. I would definitely come back again and bring friends next time. A small tip: make sure to take a queue number or reserve in advance, otherwise you may have to wait during busy hours.

Here for their red vinegar rice sushi and I was surprised to find a soft mochi ball in the chawanmushi, such a unique touch! Love all my usual fav like uni, ikura, kinmedai, engawa, otoro, and chutoro. I highly recommend their Aburi Wagyu Foie Gras sushi and Aburi Engawa sushi! Don’t miss the Foie Gras Uni and Uni Ikura handrolls which are on 1-for-1 promo now! Everything was made fresh to order by the chef right in front of us, which made the whole dining experience feel more fun and interactive. Special shoutout to the staff for their friendly and welcoming hospitality. Do check with them if you would like to try some off-menu ice cream flavours that aren’t listed on the QR menu. We had the kyoho and hojicha, and they were both good options to end our meal perfectly.

Fresh, flavorful, and fantastic! Sushi Zushi never disappoints. The rolls are creative and delicious, the sashimi is incredibly fresh, and the service is always welcoming. Great atmosphere, too. Highly recommend the Engawa aburi. Can't wait to go back! 🍣

finally visited this popular open-concept omakase-style sushi counter, where each dish is thoughtfully prepared by master chefs right in front of you, making the experience feel intimate. Premium fish is flown in 4x weekly from Japan’s renowned Toyosu Fish Market, with prices still pretty reasonable, which explains why the queues are always long (walk ins only) !! We had a selection of their 2 pc Sashimi (price varies), which had gorgeous presentation with fresh, thick cuts. Their uni ($38) came with fancy gold sprinkles & paired well with the seaweed provided, though a small gripe was the faint fishy note from the scallop. 7 pc Sushi Set ($23) is chef’s choice !! honestly, everything was well made — great rice-to-ingredient ratio, & red vinegar rice really stood out for me. Aburi items had just the right touch of smokiness too. I personally find foie gras on its own a little jelak, so this combo of fatty teriyaki foie gras & sweet uni, wrapped in crisp seaweed in the Foie Gras Uni Handroll ($19.50) was a pleasant surprise. Chawanmushi ($3.50) was comforting & well executed, with a mini mochi ball, prawn, crab meat & mushroom slice. Ikura Chawanmushi ($5) has a same silky base, but topped with salmon roe for little bursts of umami. Pistachio Ice Cream ($5.30) was served on a chilled bowl so it melts slower. This was creamy, nutty, with crunchy pistachio bits woven through. Personally would have preferred the Baked Cheese Cake ($4.20) to be a little creamier as it leaned slightly dry, but still a comforting sweet note to round things off. Look out for their promos too !! $1.50 sashimi per piece & 1-for-1 selected premium hand rolls. tldr: quality seafood fare at reasonable prices, look out for their promos to really get the best bang for your buck !!

Arrived around 11:30am and there was already a queue. The place is quite small, so it filled up very quickly and we had to wait a bit before getting a seat. Overall, I think the quality of the ingredients is decent, especially for the price. The foie gras and uni handroll was not too bad. Personally, I would have preferred the foie gras to be slightly warmer, but that’s just my preference. The spicy tuna handroll was also good, and I liked that it was actually quite spicy instead of just mildly seasoned. The octopus sashimi, however, was too thinly sliced for my liking. It was so thin that there was barely anything to chew. Overall, I would say it is value for money, especially if you are looking for reasonably priced Japanese food in the area.
