Came in for Christmas day lunch. Got several dishes, however the standouts were definitely the century egg, the fried taro, fried chicken and prawn vermicelli. Restaurant was clean and spacious. Food came out in a timely manner. No excessive wait times. Staff were friendly and easy to communicate with.
View on GoogleHad a nice lunch with colleagues here recently. Taste not too mild nor overpowering. The prawn is very fresh while the sauerkraut fish is really delicious. 🤙
View on Googlestopped by for lunch and tried the sauerkraut fish, stir-fry snowflake beef, braised tofu skin with eggs, and poached chicken. The standout for me was the braised tofu skin with eggs — light, comforting, and the least savoury of the dishes. It felt balanced and easy on the palate, especially compared to the others. The sauerkraut fish was appetising with its tangy kick, but it leaned noticeably salty and oily. The stir-fry snowflake beef had good flavour and tenderness, though it was even saltier than the fish, which made it a bit heavy after a few bites. The poached chicken was decent and straightforward, but not particularly memorable. Overall, it’s a satisfying spot if you enjoy bold, punchy flavours, though some dishes may be on the saltier side so you definitely need your plain rice. I’d return — but next time, I’d probably order more of the lighter options.
View on GoogleFantastic meal with standout dishes! Just had an amazing dining experience at So Do Fun! The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. We ordered three dishes, and each one impressed us: Fried Rice - The presentation was impressive with a perfectly molded mound of fluffy rice with a wonderful orange color and aroma. It had great flavor and texture. Clay Pot Noodles - These thin, crispy noodles served in an authentic clay pot were incredible. The wok flavor was distinct, and the tossing with green onions and chili added the perfect finishing touch. The presentation in the traditional clay pot really elevated the experience. Beef & Green Pepper Stir-Fry - Fresh, tender beef combined with vibrant green bell peppers and a savory sauce. The balance of flavors and the quality of the ingredients really shone through. The attention to detail in plating, the authenticity of the cooking methods, and the bold, satisfying flavors made this a memorable meal. The restaurant clearly takes pride in their craft. Highly recommend if you’re craving genuine, well-executed Asian cuisine! Will definitely be returning soon. 🍜
