picked the Omakase menu but to be honest, only their sushi are worth the price! Get the sushi set instead!?!? Really good sushi here, well deserving of their Michelin star. However, service was kinda bad. Kept ushering us out in a rudely manner( even when my friend was still finishing her fruits). Understand that you have another seating coming up, but please do say it nicely and friendlier.

Had the chef’s special and Yume omakase set for lunch and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The fish was so fresh you could taste the sea in it. Everything was beautifully presented and one can tell the ingredients were freshly sourced and curated. The service was impeccable too, with a very attentive waitress who took the trouble to explain each dish to me. As I was celebrating my son’s birthday, the restaurant prepared a birthday special that included sea salt ice cream. Overall it was a wonderful dining experience. Pricey but well worth the price!

Wonderful experience here at Shinji with Head Chef Ishi! We enjoyed the 15 piece sushi for $200++ and enjoyed the whole experience, interacting with chef Ishi and enjoying his artful, beautiful, and most importantly delicious sushi creations. I love how simple it is. It really lets the food quality stand out. He asked about our food restrictions before as well. We left knowing about more sushi & enjoyed their seasonal offerings! Yum. We also enjoyed interacting with other customers at the bar counter. We were offered sake by another kind & generous customer and ended up leaving friends. Amazing food and amazing company. Already planning our next visit back.

Celebrated my wife's birthday at this wonderful restaurant. Sat at the counter and was served by chef Ishizawa who took the time to introduce each dish as they were served. Would highly recommend anyone who likes sushi to give this place a try. Prices are on the high side but so are all other restaurants in Singapore nowadays. Will be visiting again the next time I have an occassion to do so.

The sushi is good, very fresh and uses high grade ingredients. The sushi chef is very friendly and speak good English. Standard environment for a sushi restaurant. I just think it’s very overpriced overall for what it is.
