A coffee shop located in the middle of a shopping center. The coffee is very good. I had a freshly brewed pour-over coffee from Kenya. It was prepared perfectly, though it did take a little while. The atmosphere is just average—the decor is modern and quite nice, but the location, right in the middle of the shopping center, makes it a bit noisy. Overall, though, it’s well worth a visit for a nice cup of coffee.

PPP Coffee at Funan is the kind of café that makes you want to linger — sleek, minimalist, and effortlessly cool, with a vibe that feels more “design studio” than your average coffee shop. It’s not just a place to grab a cup; the space doubles as a playground for coffee lovers, stocked with equipment and gear from various brands so you can bring the café experience home with you. For my visit, I ordered the Double Shot Flat White made with the Nuts and Bolts Blend at SGD 7.85 — a fitting name given the space’s hardware heritage. The blend was medium roasted and slightly less acidic, with a strong roasted character that came through clearly in the cup, balanced by notes of caramel and chocolate. I have a soft spot for coffee on the more heavily roasted side, and this hit the mark well. This is one coffee I’d happily order again and again — it’s become a regular go-to for me. Coffee: 5/5 | Service: 5/5

I always go to PPP coffee if I see one. Whether it’s the Jln Besar outlet, or the New Bahru or this outlet at Funan. The long black is rich, smooth, and buttery. Good flavor… chocolate, nutty notes with a little tint of slight sourness. The pistachio bread is just ok. I was expecting it to be more dense… but it was more like a sponge cake… A bit dry.

Ordered the Ethiopia Suke Quto pourover ($9). Bean card was a nice touch — Guji region, washed process, Welicho & Kurume varietals. Good transparency on the origin. The cup unfortunately leaned heavily citric throughout — sharp orange rather than the nectarine and white florals on the card. No real change in flavour as it cooled either, which I’d normally expect from a washed Ethiopian. Setup is Mazzer MM into a V60, hand-poured by the barista. Execution may just have been off on this visit — the bean has potential and I’d try it again. Space is comfortable, open counter is a nice touch for a mall location. Worth a revisit to give the Suke Quto a fair shot.

I’m here weekly whilst I wait for my son during his lesson. Wish they had more food options, coffee pricing is on the steeper side but coffee is decent. Staff helpful and friendly. Quite hard to get tables after 1130am.
