This is the first time I stepped foot inside Adelphi, but nothing is ever too late for a foodie. All things happen at the right time. This cafe might not have existed earlier, but it exists now. This little cafe hidden in the corner of Adelphi basement, is a hidden gem in the heart of the city. It is definitely a great place to come for a hearty homemade meal before you head off to the National Gallery or Asian Civilization Museum or even a scenic walk in the city and explore the heritage of Singapore. It’s super value for money. Comprised of Western to Asian cuisine to satisfy anyone’s cravings for a good yummy food to warm one’s tummy. I fell in love with their braised white fungus chicken drumstick soup on first taste. I could have this everyday - it’s my type of “Chicken Soup for the Soul”. A great alternative to bird nest - which means you might look 10 years younger after drinking it. Their baked fish is topped generously with homemade sambal chilli with heibi. Bar Chor Mee + Linguine is like a matchmake in heaven. Chicken cutlet aglio olio is crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. No kidding. I don’t you can find such quality, value for money food out there in the city anywhere else but here in Adelphi. Try it before it gets crowded and starts forming a queue.

New cafe which had one of the best Nonya Western fusion food in town. Chef Alvin put his heart Into the food and comes up with lots of fusion food. You must try the signature Salmon with the special butter sauce. It is a must try.

Had a meal at this cafe, soup was clear, light and delicious. Sambal had the spicy kick! Everything was cooked well with that touch of genuineness from Chef Alvin!
