Tried the oolong tea with royal milk at Happy Cup Funan with 50% sugar. The tea had a nice roasted aroma, and the royal milk made it smooth and creamy without being overly sweet. A refreshing drink that I'd order again.

Review of Happy Cup @ Funan With no shortage of tea houses and bubble milk tea shops across Singapore, it takes something special to stand out. Happy Cup is a brand I’ve been familiar with for years, having patronised their outlet at 100AM Mall in the past, so spotting them at Funan felt like a familiar reunion. This time, I went with the Roasted Oolong Tea with Royal Milk and Boba, and it was a satisfying choice. The oolong tea is brewed to order, which really makes a difference. The roasted oolong aroma comes through clearly—fragrant and comforting—without tipping into bitterness. The addition of fresh milk and chewy boba softens the edges beautifully, rounding out the tea and enhancing the overall balance of flavours. It’s a well-crafted cup that highlights tea quality rather than relying on excessive sweetness. A great option for those who appreciate a more tea-forward milk tea experience amid the crowded bubble tea scene.

Tried the Jasmine Green Tea with Fresh Milk and Small Taro Balls for the first time, surprisingly refreshing and one of the better bubble teas I’ve had. However, tried my friend’s tea, the Roasted Oolong Tea with Royal Milk & Boba Pearls, tasted a bit flat and didn’t quite justify the price. The shop has a good selection and the staff were energetic and patient. Overall, some hits and misses.

Tried their roasted oolong with royal milk tea. First time trying out this brand of tea. Good: - love the way they display the tea leaves - menu is pretty clear, despite having quite a wide variety of menu options and "configurations" - friendly staff - the tea was decent but perhaps the royal milk didnt really do it justice
