Dal.Komm Playground at Guoco Midtown is one of the most visually interesting cafés in the development. Unlike a typical coffee chain outlet, this branch feels more like a carefully designed social space, combining Korean café culture, casual dining, greenery, and playful interior design. The exterior already sets the mood, with outdoor seating arranged under the sheltered public space of Guoco Midtown. It feels comfortable and urban, yet softened by trees, planting, and the generous covered plaza. This makes it a pleasant place for coffee, casual meals, after-work conversations, or simply a quiet pause within the city. Inside, the design becomes even more memorable. The café has a warm, slightly whimsical atmosphere, with timber framing, rattan pendant lights, lush ceiling greenery, large indoor plants, and cosy semi-enclosed seating pods. The concept feels inspired by a “fox den”, creating little corners where people can gather, rest, talk, or work. I especially like how the interior balances playfulness with comfort: the soft lighting, natural textures, greenery, and warm furniture make the space feel relaxed rather than commercial. The Korean identity of the brand also comes through clearly. Dal.Komm began as a Korean coffee lifestyle brand, associated not only with coffee but also with music, youth culture, and contemporary café living. This Guoco Midtown outlet extends that idea into a fuller dining and social experience, with coffee, drinks, Korean-inspired food, desserts, and a bar-like atmosphere later in the day. For me, the charm of this outlet lies in how well it fits into Guoco Midtown’s broader urban setting. The café opens directly onto the public dining courtyard, while the interior offers a more intimate retreat. It is both part of the city and a small escape from it. For anyone visiting Guoco Midtown, Dal.Komm Playground is worth stopping by—not only for coffee or food, but also to enjoy one of the more thoughtfully designed café interiors in the area.
View on GoogleIf the weather is hot, come in here as the air-con is blasting, but maybe food can get cold first, but I guess the usual korean fare still taste good lukewarm, cold etc. (except soup stuff of course). The seafood kimchi fried rice was not too bad, good enough portion and taste with not too bad tasting prawns and scallops. My colleague had the rice bowl with fried chicken, and it seems quite nice too. Service was not too bad.
View on GoogleOnly 1 waiting staff was working and luckily there wasn't a crowd so service was still ok. 1st time here and the food was not too bad. Pleasantly surprised on the quality and presentation. Was not too hot but could be better if there were fans . Alot of local Korean beer was sold out when we were there.
View on GoogleWent on a evening time for early dinner. This is a resto bar place. More Korean orientated food style. I could feel the Christmas ⛄ vibes here. Food was good to taste. Nice to place sit and work only in the evening. During peak hours, visitors are not encouraged to sit for long time.
View on GoogleSuper crispy and flavourful korean wings. Noodle dishes were generous in portion. Dessert was great. Like the ambience.
