Walking through the grounds of the lovely Raffles Singapore Hotel was a highlight in itself. It was good to see the modern interior of the restaurant tastefully done. The atmosphere was casual and the food was excellent and high quality. We had a wonderful server Xena who guided us expertly through the menu and served us well through the meal. The pizzas were great value and I could imagine a pizza party with friends without breaking the bank. Haven't enjoyed dining in a restaurant this much for a while. Will definitely be back!
View on GoogleEnjoy a lovely lunch at this beautiful high ceiling venue. The set lunch was very reasonable as follow: $39 - Two Course $46 - Three Course The food was good. A little negative feedback would be the food service was a little slow. Overall, we had a lovely time. 😊 Here are some photos I took.
View on GoogleWent for the New Year’s brunch buffet but was very disappointed. Was not informed beforehand that there will not be a non-alcohol option and everyone has to get the champagne brunch ($198++ or $228++). We weren’t aware so we drove and brew use of that, we only end up drinking 1 or 2 glasses max each. Service was so slow, food took forever to be served, orders were not taken promptly, water/drinks were not topped up without requesting. Standard of food was mediocre, nothing blew our mind and it really tasted so average. Ended the meal pretty disappointed, expected higher quality food for the amount you’re paying, as well as better service.
View on GoogleWhat happens when a famous Michelin starred chef lends his name to a restaurant in one of the world’s iconic hotels? Unfortunately it’s not great, particularly when the cuisine falls outside of what the cuisine the chef earned his stars on. Osteria BBR does decent Italian food with a contemporary twist that fails to really level up the classics. So what you are left with is an overpriced osteria that is barely marginally better than a solid Italian restaurant that charges half the price.
View on GoogleCame here with a group of 12 people and was served the set menu. Overall the food was good. I’d say overall my favorite dishes were the tartare, the lobster pasta, the crispy fish, and dessert. Good service to boot!
